Tutorial 3: Working With Events and Panels in Visual Basic

  • In this tutorial I show you how to work with events in Visual Studio with Visual Basic. I also introduce panels as a useful control to create multiple pages. The tutorial shows how to use events on buttons to navigate through multiple pages of a single Windows Form. Panels are used to create each page. The tutorial describes how to dock and undock panels to a form. The tutorial describes how to resize a button. The tutorial describes the importance of keeping panels separate in order to create multiple pages on a single form. Through the event subroutine, the panels are made visible or invisible depending on the button which is clicked.

    Very intreresting - never used a panel before. What I used was a GroupBox (which I made visible or invisible)..
