For anyone wondering. In the game Do You Copy, the monster can mimic voices. When you hear the first scream from the man, that is when he is officially dead. For the rest of the game, the monster is pretending to be the hiker and it is trying to get you to lead you to him. Their are 4 endings. As far as I know, the only 2 ways to win is to somehow keep the man from getting killed and getting him to you or to lead the monster to tower 2 instead of tower 4 which is where you are. I may be wrong but I know that is basically the story to the game. Also, I may be wrong about getting the man to you. It also might be that their is no way to save him.

The four endings are you both die (mark's ending), you both live, or one of the two lives and the other dies respectively. A 'perfect' playthrough's actually fairly *easy*, which is probably for the best, because holy sweet crap is the game creepy. There are two sequences that have glowing eyes in the distance staring at you and both are heart attack inducing, even if you're not making any mistakes.

For your information, the goatman can mimic voices. So that part where he said, "Should I make it run?" was the goatman asking you if he should make the hiker run off the trail again.

The goatman is a creature that can mimic human voices Mark. That's why you were hearing the guy say weird things. The stressful part is you're not sure whether the guy speaking even is still alive. for all you know you could be leading the goatman right to you

In a month this video will be 5 years old. Thats half a decade of Mark playing random indie scary games and by the end of february he has uploaded 100 of these videos. I hope that he revisits "Do you copy?" Because its the game that started it all.

You should play Do You Copy again. There are alternative endings and each decision has a consequence. The story goes even deeper and I think you'll really enjoy trying to decode it. I can't give you any hints because it will spoil everything but you should really play it again Mark. Just trust me. It's amazing.

It's actually my first time watching the whole series and I've finally now caught up. I've been binge watching this series since early February of this year because it was pretty entertaining to get into new genres of horror games and seeing that these creators did to make them
Fun fact: Nuke school IS a thing! I only learned that recently bc my brother went through it and the way that note at the beginning of submerged is written is pretty damn accurate for the Navy etc

The animal call in the first game is the mating calls of Elk actually
In the first game the Goatman can copy the hiker's voice ,thr hiker is scared and panicked and the goatman is calm ,you have to lead the hiker to you and the goatman ti tower 2 or somewhere far away ,just lead the hiker(panicked and scared guy) to you and the goatman(calm voice) far from you ,do not open the light after the first time because the goatman sees it and comes and kills you.
Basically, to get the good ending you have to lead the hiker straight to you without making any mistakes. That's how you keep both of you alive.
Well I guess the goatman in this game is supposed to be something like a Skinwalker, which is a creature able to mimic voices and even change it's shape to even look like humans to lure it's victims to it.

I like the mechanics for the last game with having an asthma attack due to running too long, mostly because I myself am an asthmatic. It's nice because I always thought "....how would an asthmatic fair in a horror game situation.."
