- This is a new EXTREMELY CHEAP bugged item in hypixel skyblock. The bug allows it to deal INSANE damage and even outdamage a hyperion, scylla, valkyrie, giant sword. It will allow you kill all sort of mobs and even one shot revenant horrors and tarrantulas, essentially making it insanaly good for slayers and dungeon bosses. It also deals MILLIONS of damage in dungeons making it a great begginer weapon.

It shoots a beam every half second in dungeon which misses 50% of the time so ur dps will be pretty low with it

overall due the cooldown and the amount of mobs each item can deal, I think that hyp is still better. but for early game players trying to do up to f3 its a great weapon.
Agreed. Hyperion I a better weapon overall, however, the Aurora staff deals more single hit damage and costs only 1 million coins, making it amazing for early-mid game like you said
i used it for a good while when first exploring the crimson isles; its main downside is its long cooldown and is not as forgiving if your aim is off by a block (if your aim is just a little off, it'll either miss or not fire at all, but still consumes cooldown
I mean yes, but you'll only be using it to 1 shot things anyway since it has terrible dps
also i like how he uses the endstone sword for the aurora staff but just doesnt for hyp lol
You don't realise one thing aurora staff costs 10 mana and w sheep, ult wise and sapphire scroll you cn get it to -mana cost, but with hyp the cost is so high there is no way you gonna be using endstone sword

it's not broken the runic hits are the thing that is the tiered bonus on aurora armor which makes it do even more dmg
The thing is, I'm not using Aurora armor. Normally when you wear the Aurora armor you are supposed to match the rune to the particles to deal more damage. However, this seems not be functioning properly as swapping runes doesn't actually change the damage.

In dungeon, the staff cool down is not 1s, I can spam it like 0.5s as far as I know when I use it

that staff isn't clowning on hyperion tho, when you tested it on ghouls you compared the staff with the endstone sword abillity to the hyperion without it, it got 10 seconds cd which is really bad dps but ig 1m for that ain't too bad for early game

@@enderelijas depends on the level which if you use that weapon you're early and not high level mage and get like 3% cd reduction so it ain't the best weapon but it can still be good tho you cannot ignore the long cd that it got

Since it scales with intelligence, you could try ¾ necrotic wise dragon with shadow goggles. Or you could try aurora armor

It depends on the setup your are using. I presume that your mage setup is significantly better than mine. But you have to keep in mind that the Aurora staff will also scale with your setup

I didn't have time to test it in dungeons since I had to give it back. It doesnt matter as hyperion would win purely due to clearing potential in dungeons.
no, hyperion is WAY better in dungeons, outside dungeons i use aurora staff and in dungeons aurora staff cant one shot most mobs on high floors but hyperion can
also, the gear to make the aurora staff op is a lot more expensive
I agree, in dungeons there is no competition. However, outside of dungeons it still deals higher **single hit damage**

This weapon is meant to be used in combination with the Aurora armor to deal up to 10 times the damage if you match the correct rune. However, as seen in the video, I'm not using Aurora armor and still deal the increased damage. This is proven by changing the rune leading to no change in damage output

Not true at all, that staff is mine from my second early game profile. It is crazy good for early game dungeons, slayers (especially t1 eman) and it gives awesome base intel for voodoo doll

Fire veil wand is even better, no need to aim
It's several times more expensive though and costs significantly more mana to use

@@enderelijas I bought the staff, I'm actually I think I can say early-mid game, I got full livid sa(not 5 stars) shadow fury and it's funny the staff does pretty much the same dmg as my shadow fury. I think they'll fix it, but at least it's funny

That is my Hyperion. It has Ultimate Wise 5 on it. 2:01 There you can see "Ultimate Wise V" V = 5
actually it is not even close to the ability if the hyperion. Hyperion has Aoe damage, the staff does not, hyperion does not have a 1 second cooldown, the staff does, hyperion is a dungeon item, however aurora staff isnt. The hyperion is also an amazing clear weapon and gives incoming healing. By saying something clowns on something it means that it is much better, but you cant even compare these 2 weapons considering the huge difference. The damage test was extremely unfair since you used the enstone sword, but even with that the hyperion would still do more dps. If your saying that the staff costs less mana, you literally proved yourself wrong by using the endstone sword, a tool that literally uses ALL your mana. Stop this false advertising smh.
