- I’m really proud of this and I hope you enjoy it! I spend day and night working on it haha! This won’t be part of my own lore that I will make in the future it’s just a contest entry.

I would prefer that novus can actually fight back
Since its the most agile warden ever and can easily
Heal itself while fighting and the novus doesnt run
Out of stamina / energy to fight back since its the beacon itself
That’s a good idea on how the shrines were made! I assumed there was some greater being who was terrorizing Sonaria and the wardens “killed” them. The Gnolrok making shrines and statues with the help of small creatures to build them. Idk- it was hard to wrap my head around how Ardor can fit into that tiny swamp hole and turn to stone.

The statues could be ancient, and the statue was originally on the surface but tectonic plates and the such could have caused it to move underground

This is actually a good headcanon. Maybe the reason Boreal’s shrine looks the way it does is because that is what she did when turning everyone into stone

I feel so bad for Novus they didn't do anything wrong! Also I wonder what will happen next? It seems like an aeries found the boreal's ice orb thingy. Will it try to set the wardens free or abuse its power?

Novus did do something wrong, he killed the real 6th warden and stole it's halo

for me i head cannon something similar to this aka the novus warden was a real warden and there was a race of them or smart species but the novus let a rebellion that destroy this kingdom causing the end to the wardens reign leaving most life dead.The wardens had shrines made for them most of them fell into dust but all novus was ripped apart and broken the only one left is rotting in the water.
My lore:
The wardens were the guardians of Sonaria, protecting the island from invaders such as Sar Hingaro and others. But more, the wardens were friends, but when Sonaria needed them the most, secrets and lies drove them to become reckless, defeating the great darkness but losing their lives in the process just because one of their 5 held the power of the stars in them. They were all killed just because one came from a different place, even with the same purpose, the others wouldn’t trust them. The wardens are now portrayed by legends as reckless heroes who foolishly died, but drove back the darkness into the void, keeping Sonaria safe…… for now.
All of the wardens became a shrine and a ani recovered the key to bring all the wardens back
I love this but the fact that the Hellion murders a pero caught me off guard since I adore peros.
This is possibly one of the most interesting novus warden headcannon, I like it 10 stars!

Oo thats similar to my idea! I thought that boreal cornered the wardens to where they are in shrines and they were soon turned to stone. For novus shrine I imagined that when the wardens came back (like how we can play as them) they managed to kill novus or novus fell from the sky and died on the floating island . And for boreal i imagined that the wardens also got revenge on them for turning them into stone statues in their previous life .
Anyhow , love your animation and good work! The lore is also very nice :3

The official lore is that Novus is a ‘fake’ warden, so when other wardens found out Novus was punished, I assume that the pillar in Plains was for Angelic, I think?

I think that Verdant is a false warden, and not Novus, because in the temple of the wardens you can see the hand of Verdant, which holds a needle and sews up the Novus mask, this is a reference to the whole plot, I honestly don’t really understand this. Although this is just a theory, because Novus could have contributed to the extinction of the daimona, so he was expelled

Boreal made it stop and turn them to statues boreal was bored of just statues so boreal turned them to shines then novus died from suffering of hellion’s attack boreal was sad so she turned it to a shrine too a few thousand years later boreal was too bored and old so boreal went to tundra and used its las ability to turn it to a shrine 😢😢this is sad

My own Warden Lore:
Hellion,Ardor,Verdant,Novus,Boreal and Garra was at War againts a Unknown Creature from Another Dimension and The Only way They Defeated the Invader they Sacrificed them Self and Become a Statue, After the Rebirth of them 2 more Wardens come that is Eigion and Angelic While Sonaria at Peace A Invader make Disaster on the Old map making it Almost Destroyed and when all Wardens Again war with the Invader, Boreal Got Corrupted and now after the Invasion the Sonaria Land Reshape and Becomed the Recode

You're kinda wrong in one part, the hellion is the most superior of all wardens as it created all the other wardens, hellion simply knew boreal was too large, and on the same scale of power as him.
I think the ardor warden with berserk ability could beat boreal. Boreal may have good health and weight but still not so strong, 2 wardens of any kind is enough. Boreal isn't the leader. It's like a democracy. But I get that this is fan made do good job.
My warden rate list
Boreal strength: big with good health but can't defend against ankle bitters or breath spammers
Ardor strength:warden with the highest start attack
Verdant strength:speed
Garra strength:breath
Novas strength:OMG IT SOOOOO WEAK THE ONLY THING GOOD IS THE SEMI AQUATIC
Hellion strength:can grab most creatures
Only the serphielus warden could unify the wardens

I think verdant and ardor are siblings because they represent life and grow and garra and hellion are also siblings because garras board is DEATH and hellion is TIME LORD and angelic and novus could possibly be siblings or novus and eigion could be idk what angelic and Eigion translates novus's is false and thats all
