Wow that blanket is great. Remember when you change your colors to go to another to twist the colors. It will lock it and not look like a big hole is there. I knit and crochet. And changing colors is always done this way. Good luck and god bless you on your health and I keep you in my prayers. I too am doing cancer for the fourth time so I understand the health issues and life!

Your iron may still be low call your doctor. It’s special every time you see your grown kids. I love the set! You should put it up for the first grandchild. Then make something to put up for the other son. I’m doing that for all 5 of my grandkids. They all loved their “Nana” blankets so I may not be around when they have their kids so I’ll put the blankets up fot them.

It's so nice to have our kids love on us especially in this day and age. It's no weird but wonderful. So many bad things going on. On Tuesday my doctor said I had to go to the ER. She even called ahead. I spent the day there, waiting to leave and police told me to get back into the main dept. They locked the hospital down. I sat and talked with another lady because we knew there was a shooting or something else bad. Our concern was what the youth today were thinking. It was a 19 year old that got shot and was brought in since the hospital is a trauma center. He died a couple hours later. We said that everyone needed to pray for these kids when they get home. So having your kids love on you shows that they have been raised right. After an hour they allowed my husband pull up to get me after 2 security guards questioning him. It feels terrible to have them unlock doors to get me out. It's not the worst area but the fact the hospital is the closest trauma center. I had a young nurse in her 20's call me a 66 year old honey. Even as busy as they were she was so upbeat. I laughed and said thanks you just made me feel better with a couple words. I hope Elijah is doing good with the situation he had to go through. Sorry to ramble but you just reminded us all how simple loving things are so important nowadays.
You did an amazing job on the blanket and koala. Maybe enter them? I do wake up after an idea pops in my head. Of course I get up and get back to it. I drive my husband crazy. Even my son and grandson would get up to see if I was okay and why not in bed. We don't have any rest in our heads or butts till we do what we're thinking about immediately. Lol You're just so fast.

Oh Sue...im so sorry for your loss...i lost a son also in October 1998. It's so hard to loose a child..thats just not supposed to happen. God did bless me with an older son n a younger son. My younger son 21 lives with me, and helps me as much as he's able.
