Summary: Aaron tentatively admits that he doesn't want to lose Jackson. He later apologises, and Jackson agrees to give him another chance when he promises he'll try and sort himself out. Aaron then leans in a gives Jackson a kiss. However, Jackson is dubious that Aaron has let go of his feud with Mickey.

I LOVE this episode! It gives me/us a glimpse into how Jackson and Aaron REALLY interact when they are alone. I feel that they are actually very affectionate and loving towards each other!

I freaking loved the one on one time that they got together. It's the only time Aaron is able to open up and share his romantic feelings with Jackson. It was cute how hard he was trying to win him back, and as hard as he tried (knowing full well Aaron would revert back to his old habits) he gave him another try. I hope Aaron doesn't screw it up for good on Wednesday though :(

How old were Aaron and Jackson when they were dating? Because I feel like Aaron was around 18 and Jackson was early twenties?
+rachael.has.entered Actually that's exactly the ages that they were! Aaron was 18 years old here, and Jackson said he was three years older than Aaron so that would make him 21 years old! But emotionally Aaron is 14 or 15 years at most, and Jackson is emotionally mature for his age! So really the age gap is much wider! Though I really do not blame Aaron for being emotionally and psychologically stunted, not with his past! I'm surprised he's not even more psychotic and crazy than he is! I would say that he's a saint compared to what he could have been with his past! If you know anything about the storyline that recently went on with Aaron you will understand! I have so much more insight on why Aaron is the way he is here watching this again after the recent revelations about what Aaron's dad used to do to him! How can Aaron know what it is to be a good man when he grew up with an psycho for a father! He's learning, but these people need to be more patient with him! There was no way he was able to develop into an emotionally or psychologically stable person as a child and then preadolescent and adolescent with what was done to him back then! No way! And it's only been maybe a year or a little more since he got a decent male role model to look up to in Paddy! I know that Jackson and Paddy and everyone else don't know about Aaron's past yet, so they can't really understand what is going on with him here! But now that we know, I hope people in the comments cut Aaron just a little more slack here, he's learning slowly, and realize that he could have become way worse than he is now!

Funny rewatching this years later and seeing all the people moaning in the comments about how unpassionate they are together. 1. ummm they're basically both teenage boys they aren't going to be the most romantic. 2. Aaron is clearly not comfortable yet so hes unlikely to initiate intimacy, especially in public, and Jacksons WELL aware of this is will act accordingly. 3. this is emmerdale, no one, not gay, not straight, not bi who is in a relationship whose character isnt specifically particularly "randy" shows much affection anyway which is imo reflective of the majority of real life couples soooo...
Just wish people had been more realistic with expectations of the show instead of fetishizing these guys. smh

not only that but he is still young and he still cares what others are thinking .. that will be difficult to get over on anyones standards.
I'll take this storyline over all the gay storylines American soap opera have to offer only thing they got on Aaron/Jackson is love scene I personally want to see good acting and writing for now this storyline is slow once it picks up it's one of the best storylines I've seen on a soap opera. If you like lame unrealistic storylines chessy bad acting you are not going to like this.
@sakurablooms13 What do you mean? I think it's the other way around. It's Aaron is the one who don't deserve Jackson. Jackson could do much better. Jackson should have found someone who is in the same stage as his coming out process. Taking on Aaron as a boyfriend is such a risk as we have seen in these episode. If he could have let Aaron go, he could have been fully functional and alive today.

I feel so bad for Jackson. He wants so badly to believe that Aaron can change and can equally contribute to the relationship, when in reality Aaron isn't even capable of having a stable relationship at this point in his life. He could barely show Jackson affection in public, which will likely grow old soon for Jackson

I really agree with you about A&A but they chose a different road, I think Jackson reacted the way he did because his guard is still up, I think Aaron will need to do more than just say he's sorry and he'll change for Jackson to completely trust him again, Jackson was really close to dump Aaron it makes sense he doesn't jump in Aaron's arms especially after everything he put him through

yes i heard that as well in an interview with jackson and on a recent interview with danny at the awards show he said that for he and jackson there will be at least till then or maybe later. not quite sure but right around there i gather.

I don't agree with that, sorry. Danny Miller and Marc Silcock are really superb actors and are playing their parts as directed. Such wonderful acting is the reason we all care about the pair of them. That's also why we are interested in "spoilers" as we care about what is going to happen to them.
We all know the are straight playing gay, but they are doing a fine job.

They could learn a thing from Thore in Chrolli (Christian & Oliver), a straight actor , and young too, who did what was needed for a great soap/storyline - see part 45 around time 2.30 to get hooked - storyline rang for 7 years, soap for 20 years, click cc for subs.

I think the UK had issues with gay storylines or sex storylines like the US does during the daytime. Nighttime or cable allows a mroe versatile showing.

They should have carried on Aaron and Jacksons relationship because they truly loved each other. Aaron loved paddy because he stuck around no matter how Aaron treated him. He acted a thug to protect himself and most people stayed away but he knew the ones who stayed loved him. Jackson came back although he beat him up. That's love. Jackson left because Aaron was stubborn just like he was with paddy but he only did it to force Aaron to change and he couldn't be with Aaron losing it. He admitted he always loved Aaron. But Aaron felt Jackson thought he was no good which hurt but Jackson didn't think that

If you want spoilers, they are predicting a crash involving Jackson's van, with Jackson, Aaron, Paddy and Marlon inside, One of them ends up "fighting for his life". My money is on Jackson, as it needs Jackson's "near death" experience for Aaron to to finally realise how much he really does love Jackson.
One word: Uncomfortable.

Because after everything tht Aaron has put him through, Aaron needs to noe the meaning of love and tht I really think tht Aaron needs to be leaning toward the edge of losing Jackson in order to let Jackson noe tht he loves him a lot!! To be fair to Emmerdale the show doesn't really let the straight couples have love scenes , But when it come to gay/lesbian characters Emmerdale is good with giving them storylines like they would the straight character I main Emerrdale was the first soap opera to have same sex union in 1996. The way OLTL did kish was a smack in the face to the fans I felt kish was used just to say we were the first to show a same sex love scene after that kish got a really bad storyline than Kish was out.

I don't know who's the better actor, Danny or Aaron? Even I was almost convinced that Aaron is going to change, just as much as I'm almost convinced that he and Jackson make a decent couple.
Jackson said something that really opened my eyes. Right now, Aaron doesn't need a boyfriend, he needs a social worker--a really good social worker that's willing to work well overtime and is also a third degree black belt (just in case). Aaron needs to work on himself before engaging in a relationship.
I feel so bad for Jackson. Honestly, Aaron is a mess, but you can tell that Jackson loves him. When he finally accepted him back, it seemed kind of reluctant. I hope their relationship doesn't fizzle out. Or at least, I hope that Jackson doesn't leave the show. :(
Yes there was a kiss at last but it smacked of tokenism. The interrupted kiss between Ryan and the guard was far more plausible, sexier and alluring.
Lips dont always have to touch to mean something. Kisses have many emotions tied to them. I think for the situation that kind of kiss is what most people do. Just peck or quick smack.

Its not that I expect this show to be like something off of xtube or anything but...good lord! How dusty dry and passionless could a relationship ever be? THAT was a make up kiss???!! It is interesting how the writers don't show much physical contact between these guys. Clearly the kiss was a first. Not even any glances where you get they are intimate other than just friends. The story line tells us but they are but they act intinmately disconnected. I thought the energy between Adam and Aaron was more than just friends for some reason. Aaron and Jackson really do just argue more than appreciate each other from what they show us.
For those that reply to my comment; let's just hope tht doesn't happen:) I hope even though it does happen, I hope Jackson lives on!(not like Reid from atwt) because i really hate to see someone has to suffer becuz something bad happened to their loved ones! In addition, hope aaron really begins to mature and learn from past mistakes!!

SPOILER!!!! Yep its official, This is pretty much as good as it gets. His storyline started out so strong and after his whole coming out was so dramatic and well written I was stoked for Aarons story but I think Im going to stop watching now :( Disappointed to say the least.
