I went on this ride when I was seven and since then he has been nicknamed âspittyâ. 7 year old me did not appreciate being spit on by stitch. Many many years later and he has still not lived down that nickname, Iâm convinced he will never live it down.
I remember the newer Stitch ride, when I was in kindergarten I went on it and I remember that I couldnât breathe from all the stuff in the air. It smelled like pancake syrup. It was an odd experience and I have mixed emotions about it đ
Being a Disney worker, the old ride when an alien chased you in the pitch black darkness the reason we shut it down wasnât actually because childrenâs parents were complaining the reason was that we actually did have an animatronic to make it a bit more scary and one day that animatronic got thrown off of the track. It went to the very bottom got stuck in the mechanism and was then deemed a health hazard. We replaced the alien with stitch because not only is stitch more family friendly to the younger audience but a stitch animatronic hasnât ever caused a health hazard

Stitch's ride was such fun. So sad to know they closed it đą
Man reading all the comments abt how scary the Stitch ride was makes me want to ride it even more đ
I remember me and my mom going to the Stitch show. I remember being absolutely terrified when the lights shut off and thinking Stitch was going to eat me when I felt the water spray on me that was supposed to be his slobber.
that stitch thing made me cry so we left when the lights were off
the sky buckets are my main memory from a disneyland trip when I was 5. i thought I was making it up or not rememering it correctly.
I find it kinda interesting that the stitch ride closed like 2 days after I went on it with my family and i remember my family being like âThank god that ride closed,it was terrible.â
Yes the Stich tide scared me, in traumatized
I remember the alien encounter ride as a kid. Freaked me out. You could hear it and feel it right next to you. For some reason, I even remember getting touched by something.
I like Stitch Great Escape. I liked the water the sprayed and the seats poked you. LOL
I remember being so traumatized after getting on that stitch ride
I remember the first one from a few years ago, and my brother got so terrified when he burped at us
Stitches great escape TRAUMATIZED me as a child it was terrifying
I remember the Stitch version, it was terrifying but fun.
I remember going to stitches great escape as a 5 year old. I can attest that being SPAT ON by stitch was very traumatic and I've grown up with a hatred towards stitch that I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of XD
SAME but i was 17!!! i had no idea what the ride was⊠i thought it it was something like pooh or peter pan. cut to me being spit on by an alien đđđđ
I did the Stitch Escape thing was shockingly intense! I did it in my 30s and couldn't believe Disney had something that legit scary đ
Okay, but when I was little I loved the alien ride and Stitch ride. It was thrilling to me but there was no warning on how intense it really is. They do need to add a Lilo and Stitch themed ride eventually though
The stitch ride was great, I was traumatized as goo from stitch landed on my lips, but it was fun either way đ
Stitches Great Escape was SO intense to me and my friends as 10-year-olds!
I miss Alien Encounter!
I went on this ride when I was seven and since then he has been nicknamed âspittyâ. 7 year old me did not appreciate being spit on by stitch. Many many years later and he has still not lived down that nickname, Iâm convinced he will never live it down.
ExtraTerrestrial was one of my favorites!!!! While yes it was scary it was such a fun experience I was sad when I returned and they had removed it.
I remember the newer Stitch ride, when I was in kindergarten I went on it and I remember that I couldnât breathe from all the stuff in the air. It smelled like pancake syrup. It was an odd experience and I have mixed emotions about it đ
I remember when I went into the stitch ride when I was a bit younger it was terrifying Iâm glad it closed down
I loved alien encounter. I loved hearing them scream
Iâm glad it closed. It scared me when stitch started crawling on us. I never went back.
