This song hits all the right feels. Just when I thought I couldn’t love this song even more, it’s probably one of my top favorite songs to listen to EVER. It gives literal chills all over my body and sends me to a very happy place. Thank you WW for this absolute beautifully written song and accompaniment. 🖤🖤🖤
@@tylermullins41yeah I remember listening to the stripped version of Godspeed. I was sitting there like, “Who tf is this?” lol. But then the chorus hit and lost me on the country vibes.
He is a versatile songwriter, he even cowrote some Hardy songs I believe…. but he’s not only influential in metal but country songs, so it does makes sense that you’d see a resemblance in country rock.
Watched an interview with Cody the other day and he talked about how much respect he has for country music and working with country artists in Nashville.
It’s crazy to see how these guy make some of the hardest songs but pull this beautiful magic out of themselves
Cody has some of the best clean vocals in the industry. Impeccable.
They compliment one another so well. Cody's vocals are so smooth.
'"You and Me are always gonna be MAGNETICCCC"....... 💫
This acoustic cover is so *Magnetic*

It's already in my top 5 all time despite being released a few months ago
Is it just me or does most of the Wage War songs in acoustic form sound like they could be country rock songs? At least instrumentally lol.
Their Stripped album definitely has those vibes, and the Folsom Prison Blues cover pretty much solidified that in my mind. It's like a perfect blend

That would be because Cody is a big country guy and wants to make a solo pop country album I remind him about it everytime I do a vip M&G 😂

Such a beautiful song 🎧
At 2:17 Briton almost does vocals that sound like Cody - he's really improved on the cleans
I personally like the heavier side of Wage War but damn they are so good.
Doesn't the beginning riff sound like good riddance (time of your life) by green day?
Fuck. This is GOOD.
Shame it's not on spotify
Those harmonious vocalizations during the chorus are too good. Ain’t gon’ lie, this version is way better.
did he start playing nickle back at the end lol
