I need a WHOLE LOT more practice to be able to control my voice like that... I mean I can control the pitch and range pretty well but other than that..... It gets harder to sing,.😅

I love his "go to war" at 1:28 because it's not the usual scream he does, it's more of a belt and it really shows how powerful his voice can be without the harsher vocals. Good jam.
Jonny is literally like a god. He has such a unique voice, he's one of the (not so many) vocalists who sound good both live and on CD.
And let's not forget about Daniel and Mark, who can sing extremely well too; a lot of bands don't even have a vocalist that can sing like that.
What's crazy is that he wasn't even the original singer. He was the drummer. lol

David Draiman from Disturbed sound almost the same live as he does on track
They aren't around anymore but Darroh Sudderth from Fair to Midland sounded very close to the same both live and in recording, but unlike some other singers he also had a range very similar to Jonny's.
I love Fair to Midland, and love the fact that these guys list them as a huge influence.

Jonny Hawkins is a beast. He did this recording a week after his rib injury from Brazilian jiu jitsu. Our generation’s Jim Morrison and he looks like a young JM. Easily in my top 3 favorite bands

Yeah listen to their self-titled album. Its their best work Tbh even though I'm conpletely in love with this album I think their self-title was the best thing they ever put out.

Of course ! The day it had been released ,) I like it A LOT, the lyrics are pretty good (love Fade in Fade out, Tunnels and Just Say When) but I have to say I prefer their self-titled album though.
He can do more than just sing. This guy is amazing. Holy sh*t. I already loved these song from their videos. To hear him sing like that acoustically, amazing. I love how passionate this band is when playing. Man. There may be background voices on laptop but that doesn't take away from his voice. Or the power behind their sound

First time I heard them was live in Chicago duiring..something fest 2017-8? Big ass show 3 day with dozens of bands. I fell in love instantly. The energy is f**king real with these guys, this was them being chill..HASDHASIODHJASDHJ ASODJ ! NOTHING MORE!

I’ve been a fan for a while and love the albums, but this is by far the best version of a song I have heard from you guys. I come back to listen to this pretty regularly because it’s so good. I think if you made an “unplugged best hits” collection it would fucking slap. Just super raw like this man. This version compared to the album is somehow more intense, would love to have your other songs recorded similarly.
