How to Make Knight Rider Kitt Talk + Audio set up

- This video I explain how everything is set up so kitt talks. I also go into detail on how I power everything, how everything is connected and how the interior tv's are powered too along with the hardware I use.
My old boss had one of these. If I ever built one and this is something you might like to do is to make kitts voice box only work when he speaks and not for every other noise/sound effect. My idea is to edit the audio files so whenever Kitt speaks its only ever on the left channel and make the rest of the audio only work on the right channel. Then only hook up the left channel to kitts voice box and leave the right channel disconnected. I made up a little chat senario with a media box of Devon speaking to Micheal with Kitt also adding to the conversation from one of the episodes with the split Audio but never got the opportunity to show or install it as I was made redundant. It looks amazing though, great job
There are lots of extras you can do, I still have plenty of things to add so there is lots more cool stuff that I will be making videos about. I will def be doing more things with the audio too but at the moment I'm just having a few months off doing work on it as I've been working on it flat out for over a year. 👍
@@FunkyProjects when i talk to my KITT he talks back to me, but im trying to find out how to say KITT turn on dash, and he will "Countdown" the countdown and voice box then does his intro. Im just wondering if you know how to do that with just a Laptop and the countdown and voice box?
the only way i'm aware of doing all of that is to get some good software and get it installed so you can control it and customize from your tv's. I know there is some software on the market at the moment which I am probably going to buy but that will be next year now. I'm not aware though of how to do it from just a laptop etc. I'm guessing you will need some software or program on your laptop to do that.
@@FunkyProjects the program i use is Voice Attack you can do it from a Laptop, i know where anyone can buy a whole KITT CPU package, comes with cameras, relay boards and mini computer, i get that some day but im just using my laptop for now!

Hi Jerry, the ones I used I purchased from amazon, they are called "Sumvision Cyclone Micro 2+ Full HD HDMI 1080p" I paid around £23 GBP for them each

you already can, you just need some other software installed and you can do all of that no problem

You can get more info on this on the knight rider facebook groups. Some of mine I did actually buy though. I bought some from ebay in a big bundle deal. Ask people with the groups and you will get pointed in the right direction buddy 👍
What speakers do you use in the front grill?
I used boat/marine speakers. I placed them under the front nose section so they are nicely hid away and also not too exposed to weather either 👍
