She was the most fun to listen to at the 50 year reunion. I tried to go every time she spoke. Also got to take a picture with her. She is just down-to-earth, sweet, funny hilarious and her acting was just wonderful. She brought so much joy to my life when I was 7 years old and. Here we are fifty years later and to still brings the same joy
She has a fun personality. She also did stand up.
Allison is my favorite. Out of all of the characters, her interviews are the best!

OMG Mrs. Olsen was the original Karen! I love how she said she was the first person to ask to see the manager.
Allison is very entertaining! She's also a good writer. Her book is a captivating read.

The Actor who played Nellie’s husband died of AIDS in the 1980’s. In a time of fear and distrust, Allison was his biggest advocate and friend. Fearless. As a gay man who lived through that awful nightmare she will always hold a very special place in my heart. A true lady.❤️🙏🏿
My mum was born in 1935 and lived on a farm through the depression. There were eight of them in an old grain shed with a lean-to built onto the side to accommodate this never ending string of babies that came along. Mum and her sisters were re-located to some beds in an old machinery shed. I always say that she grew up on the little house on the prairie LOL.

I just have to say this when people went to the 50th. And Paid to have autographs with all the stars. I will just tell you that she only charged $10 in autograph. Compared to some people who charged seventy an Autograph... And I'm not putting down. I promise the people who charged 70. But I think it speaks volumes about her. Realizing that not everybody can afford $70. So she made it affordable for everyone which speaks a lot about her and I thought that was absolutely wonderful. It pulled it my heart strings

Nellie was mean and spoiled. I feel like Nancy was just plain evil and, had she been an actual person, would have stayed that way.

Nellie was that character we all loved to hate, which means she did a fabulous job as an actor. I loved the comeuppances she got throughout the show and equally loved that she eventually grew up and became a better person. It was a great and satisfying end to her character arc. Alison seems like a really interesting and funny person. I'd love to spend a day with her over a bottle of wine and listen to the stories.
I also had a Nellie who changed. She did this all by her self at 12, with a big Mea Culpa and the whole class as a witness. Before that I thought she was evil, but she turned out to be a nice girl. It made me think about _my_ part of being bullied, and my prejudices. That girl taught me a lot.
Alison, you were wonderful! A great foil against the others! Your acting was wonderful!

FYI, These days I prefer Nellie over Mary Ingalls. In real life, Melissa Anderson was more of a Nellie. Allison theorized that it had to do with Melissa Anderson having a STAGE MOTHER.

I met Alison Arngrim at a book signing back in 2010. She was funny and so sincere. I spoke French with her as she travelled through on her Confessions of a Prairie Bitch tour.
She is just a delight. I love that annoying little Nellie is portrayed by this amazing lady. Thanks so much for sharing all these interviews with us!

Didn't watch when I was young, but absolutely fell in love with the show a few years ago. Nellie and Mrs Olsen MADE the show..... it's hilarious whenever their evil plans backfire.
My sister and I loved Nellie and thought she was so funny.
She’s very engaging. The “Back to School” episode is a turning point, because at that point both Nellie and Harriet made the transition from sinister to full-on comic relief. And the two actors were certainly up to the task. Nellie eating a snack while ordering Laura to beg her for forgiveness is hysterical. Because she’s so self assured and is reveling in her villainy.
So great! Nellie was the best. I could watch these videos all day. Please keep them coming!
I’m watching it for the I don’t even know how many time. It’s on prime and I’m obsessed and I’m loving every minute of it. My Husband and I watched it on TV several years ago and we’re like oh I remember this when I remember that one I don’t remember this when I don’t remember that one. It’s such a brilliant show. I think every family should watch it with their children.

People watch it because it was a well written show that gave people memories of a time where people really were honest and cared about others.

I would have loved to have been there. I remember her brother was on a show called The Land of the Giants...I loved that show and was so excited to find out the boy from it is her brother ...his name is Stefan Arngrim....I had such a crush on him.....I love Nellie. She was so mean, especially to Laura and Mary...But Alison is wonderful and so friendly....or so anyone who has met her has said....I noticed the look you gave Percival in the wagon and I thought it was hysterical...Just wonderful.

I love Nellie Oleson now as an adult but I was terrified of her as a child because I had a whole group of Nellies in my school. In 2020, they all came back and apologized for treating me so badly. Of course, I didn't push any of them down a hill in a wheelchair, maybe that would have worked 😂.

"Little House on the Prairie," came on at five pm every week on the eadt coast in the 80' s. I NEVER missed an episode.

When they make new seasons of this series, please get on board and play some member of the Oleson family. You know that's what the world needs, right?
I love the episode "Here comes the Brides", they finally did something different and positive with Nellie.

The show has been appealing for so long for the same reason the LIW books themselves have been so popular over the decades. While fictionalized to a degree, they were based on many of the real events and people in Wilder's life. She was a real person who grew up as a child of pioneers.

Besides Willie & Laura other siblings were the actors who played Andrew Garvey & Albert Ingalls. Not to mention so many twins, like the twins, who played Carrie & Grace.💁🏻♀️
Both Melissa and Jon were adopted as were Patrick and Matthew. Great upbringings
My absolute favourite show! Loving these interviews! Funny thing my neighbour lent me the whole series and I have been watching it and I am 60 years old! Never grows old for me and I remember each episode lol 😆

This show is awesome! Stands the test of time. I love this show it's so real and a great watch on my days off to just relax. You can laugh you can cry. I can also be assured that this show is something I can watch with my niece and know that it will ALWAYS be safe to watch with children unlike MOST of today's shows.

I didn't like it when they wrote Nellie off and brought Nancy in but the Olesons were a big heart of the show. Without them it would have been boring.

We didn't hate you we accepted you were our better and of course you can act out all you want(we knew it was make believe and you were at the mercy of adult writers,what do they know what goes on ina childs heart). Yup we're poor, so poor in fact that when it rains outside, the house inside rains too and that's no joke! It's a lousy situation but we make it work somehow and that's Why we watch Little House On The Prairie...It gives us Hope...Hope that one day we too will be out of this bad situation. It's all we do have.
My mom use to say that God will provide for us with a better way of life, but until then, we'll continue to watch the show and stay hopeful :)
