One of my biggest issue with her is honestly her 2nd skill's CD, where it won't start counting down even if you didn't use it, limiting her roaming potential (since her 2nd skill will most likely not be available in fights if you use it to rotate to other lanes). I'm sure if they fix this she'll join the likes of Minotaur and Khufra as contested picks for tanks
God yes, this is so annoying and why it isn’t reduced when not using phase 2 is beyond me. This change alone would help her so much. It’d also be nice if s1 was based on her hp on something to incentivize building tank if the situation calls for it.
Also her small range is a big problem too.
They should give her a buff like other heroes. If her first skill hits an enemy, it will reduce the cooldown of her second skill.

In Hororo’s bizarre ways to bring back a forgotten hero is to switch their roles completely in dmg or tankiness xD
Carmilla was originally built with dmg but with nerfs she became only viable in higher ranks with tank builds

When she was introduced moonton said shell be the first support capable of carrying the team while also showing she was getting tripple kills, her magic scaling was also too high before equal to vales ult with 70/70 ratio and her heal was 3x higher than alice, 💀. Heck her recommend builds only consist of 3defense it was like shes a fighter but because of her ult she was labeled as support.

I'm like the biggest carmila main since release and she's so fun to play! It's so satisfying to tank with her when her role was just pure support so ppl thought she's squishy when she's literally very tough with tank build 🥰.

as a local tourney player trying to reach higher level of competition Carmella has been my wild card pick Everytime and she slays.
This will work when you're playing with your friends who doesn't mind you building her full mage, not with some randoms who expect you to tank damage.
You can use this when you have tanky jungle and side laner

@@damara2268 I dont know how the draft if in your server but in my server we usually play tanky sidelane majority of the time and there's high possibility of tanky jungle as welll.. that's why I said you can use the magic carmilla when you have tanky jungle and sidelane not when you have squishy team. Usually when youre in s5 this is a highly possible with the team draft though I won't recommend going with this build in rank as carmilla skill 2 literally has a very long cool down and the rest of the skills dont deal much damage.

Tips using carmilla:
When you're about to use her 2nd skill 2nd phase, use her skill 1 first cause her 2nd skill got a little delay that you can't do anything
That "little" delay will get longer if you use 1st skill first

So Lightning Truncheon + Carmilla replaced Bloody Retribution + Carmilla? Interesting. It seems like Lightning Trucnehon's adjustments not so bad. Btw, Impure Rage is also the core of this Burst Carmilla.
As a carmilla main my main concern while going Carmilla is her no dash skillset ofcourse flicker is an option and she has great range but other than that i found tat her being tanky and setting up gank with her ult is more favorable from early to late.. just my opinion
They just need to buff her 1st skill range and make her 2nd skill shorter cd if 2nd phase isn't use. Petrify is her best spell though
I think a hybrid build (3 magic items and 2 def) is better than a full magic build, she’s squishy without a def item and her role is more on supporting teammates than 1v1 (like a semi-fighter role).
If I play Carmilla, my build and emblem will be like this:
Build: def boots (either physical def or magic def), glowing wand, lightning truncheon, holy crystal, 2 def items (1 physical and 1 magic)
Spare items: fleeting time and divine glaive
Emblem: tank or support, with agility, tenacity, wilderness blessing or pyt, and impure rage
Cicilion can use his midnight waltz to help Carmilla escape or chase enemies so for the cicilion mains out there please take this advice

They should just give her a Fighter role to be honest. She can deal a good amount of damage even with a full tank build. She's more of a Support/Fighter.

Its always fun to build heroes in unexpected ways. Also buff silvanna (I should put this under moonton's videos shouldn't i) and fix these bugs:
Summarised: Zhask's spawn counts as both a creep and hero unit at the same time and the wall hitboxes suck. (I noticed that the damage problems seem to affect all summoned units, but neither sun nor vex seem as badly affected as Zhask, but please correct me if I'm wrong), and in some situations his ult basically just immediately runs out. FIX ZHASK.
Can we get a zhask bug fix? His spawn takes full damage from both retribution and dhs (which makes helcurt one shot my ult or me and my passive, and it takes two instances of damage from cursed helmet, one normal and one 350%),
he can't ult in minsi's anti-dash field under any circumstance, even when its an on the spot morph,
the wall's hitboxes are just broken(I often clearly teleport over a wall and stay on the same side),
if you activate his ultimate but subsequently die before morphing, the ultimate goes on cooldown despite the fact that it hasn't really been cast (I think most of us would love i-frames during the morphing phase- between triggering and being in it),
when you leave the ult before it ends, and reposition it when its at its despawn range, the animation plays but no ult spawns. Furthermore, casting ult again after this causes its duration to drop to essentially zero and immediately end upon casting, WHICH SURELY COUNTS AS GAME BREAKING, so in conclusion: please help bring awareness about zhask's bugs because the help service doesn't work unless we all spam it I'd presume or someone makes a video. Please make a video.
i hope developer will buff her ulti, like give a stun if enemy breaks the link..
1. You need 5 high level item which is really haard for roamer
2. You are squishy, and you can't play Carmilla like Kadita and Selena
It hits hard in the late game, but late game roamer is nearly impossible to play in ranked match

No, it's way better for both of them to have it. There are certain situations in which you need to save Carmilla as well. Believe me it's better to have it for both.
The enemy just needs magic defense and her damage will be a laughing stock while she’s super squishy
Yes. Even full tank build, she's quite easy to bait,pickoff and got killed.
For me, i use semi tank built for her, that magic damage from equipment is just bonus cause i use it so her regen is better

Her potential is very good, but what makes her unstoppable is being able to return to base WITHIN CECILION. That is very broken, yes, to return inside it to the base you have to have good synchronization, although if you return halfway inside it you can continue returning to base.
its not broken cause cecilion its the one who can do it, as a carmilla main on solo thats depends even if there a cecilion on your team not broken but useful
It was known that Carmilla scaling is high but the reason Full mage doesnt get used much is because Athena shield exists...

people are just realizing this...I've been using mage build Carmella since last season...use Camilla as the midlaner and a tank like berelick the enemy gets destroyed in team fights ..mage build Carmella is also very strong in early to mid game
The worst things about Mage Carmilla Ultimate is the more Hero there, the more damage all of them take due to share damage of Lightning Truncheon and Glowing Wand. So just by 3 Hero already make you take like double damage from Lightning Truncheon and Glowing Wand while 5 Hero the Lightning Truncheon stay the same due to it's limit but Glowing Wand damage become triple

I hope they buff her skill 1's range it's way too small it's the same range as her basic atk. And her skill 2 cd that won't start once used. And lastly her ult's casting animation it's a bit delay the enemies have time to escape.
You can use lethal ignition to have more damage chain the blood wings to wishing lantern it can one shot so many heroes and even if you have a mage defence it will still melt it.i always use Camilla mage I don't like tank carmilla or support well now it's not only me who use it
I've used to play her mage build but it's a bit hard to lane with her due to range difference against most images. The only clearing capability she have is 1st skill.
Roam, I'm not really sure. It means less sustain for the team unless the farmer is a bit tanky with a tanky exp and has decent amount of cc for team fights. I might do it if I get a jungle martis with exp Terizla.
This build made her just like last patch tank masha where her usefulness is just her ultimate and nothing else.
Still i wanted moonton to bring back bonus movespeed from her first skill because that is why she's deadlier before than now.
With the new LT, any magic damage heroes when fully built with Magic Power can one shot squishy. Especially with Dire Hit.
it's fun when You build Carmilla Hybrid 3 Magic and 2 Defense item and that thing oddly success bring me into Mythic.

YES FINALLY GET SOME SPOTLIGHT BEEN USING CARMILLA MAGE BUILD SINCE HER RELEASE BACK IN 2019 I USED TO RUN HER AS JUNGLER WITH FULL MAGE BUILD
Been doing this from the beginning. Back then using cod lighting combo with full mage build i use flicker for easier pick off. You can kill 2-3 squishy hero at the same time with a good combo like i use.
Use 2nd skill and find your prey
When you are already near. flicker them and ult where most of them are together. When they are stunned from the ult, use the charged 2nd skill and poked them also with your 1st skill and boom they are dead 😂

she's very good in team fight cs her passive and Ult, but her cd on skill 2 tho its take 2-3bussiness day😂

I tried playing Carmilla full mage multiple times in the past because i always knew she's a "decent" mage, and i always got rejected so i went roamer build.
Classic is no fun to do this, a proper team to test her power in rank is almost impossible as a solo player.
I was a carmilla main back then when she was released and her ultimate rework was a big changer till they nerf the essential of her that is the link slow... I no longer use her because of it, she's too difficult play properly
I used to use a hybird build on her, half magic dmg other tanky items
I just wish they give her movement speed from 1st skill back, like how she was released in the game

That build has limitation like a single target very long CD skill.
The fact that the hero becomes squishy, if you can't one shot you'll be the one that's death, mathilda is way more better as a burst support.
She can enter turret, destroy you and get away.
i love carmilla, i always use her to disrupt enemy's jungle in the beginning of the match with her first skill

Her skill damage,slow effect and passive steal defense got nerfed because in 2021 players use her in EXP Lane, how irony that it also affected me while I just use her as Roamer. 💀

I use her as an XP laner with Ice Glow Wand as damage, the rest all Defense. Annoys the enemies pretty much LOL

For me,They should replace her role from Support/tank into Mage/Support and they need to gave her a ranged basic attack,Wider range of 1st and 2nd skill,her ulti remains the same but they should gave her ult an eye catching Effects tho

Disagreed. Carmilla is better as a support/tank. Her first skill requires her to be close to opponents and survivability is really important to her. Just buff her tankiness and roaming capabilities
