oh it must’ve been heartbreaking leaving a close friend and having to redo everything you have worked on for the comeback. i’m not sure exactly what happened, but it was the worst move to leave right before releasing a comeback. it was held back to an extent to redo everything. a moment of silence for leaving a friend and rewatching memories.
There was no other time to leave, which I partly blame JYP(E) for (overworking SKZ). They just had a comeback, then Double Knot promotions/release, next would've been Levantar, the album, and a World Tour- not even within a year. Honestly, it was the best time for him and people should be more empathetic and respectful of that.

If you look at it in terms of dates, the 27th of October feels like a really bad time to leave (but at least he didn't leave any later). However, it becomes interesting when you think about it in terms of months. SKZ had just finished a tour in September. They would begin one in November. Month wise, October would be the best time for Woojin to leave. I've always found it funny how it was simultaneously the best and worst time for him to leave. Plus, it wasn't Woojin who would decide _when_ to terminate the contract. That's the job of the company. If they terminated it so late, the fault lies with them. The saddest thing that If your a new stay like me (2022-now) you can dig in and find moments with stray kids and Woojin and nothing but him just be nice to the others and caring for them and you can really tell that Stray kids is more disappointed in him, leaving more than anything. Oh god, Levanter...I remember being there (been a STAY since 2018). It was such an emotionally turbulent time. I didnt even realize that its been 4 years since this all happened...it was tough for the boys and the fandom itself. Everyone was tense, each performance was tough to watch, every video where Woojin was cut off was hard to get through, and all the time the boys had to put up a brave face and still perform like normal while everything was chaos. Im so proud of them for making it through
They were sad watching this cause this is their first performance without Woojin and they realized how match have they grown reached their goal so far..
For those confused: it was the first stage after WJ left the group and they had just had to re-record and choreograph everything. They were so quiet and they are NEVER all quiet at once like that. They looked so exhausted.
That was the most heartbreaking moment as a stay. I miss 9 members, really, but it’s better now for all of them. It took awhile for me to move on after the comeback, but i did, and now i really do believe 8 is fate! The best thing to do is to support Woojin as a soloist, and stray kids as an 8 member group.

I'm still sad after all this time that things didn't work out, but he does have some good solo music. His song in my space is actually very very beautiful, and well done. Don't hate Woojin for what he did, he had a bad time when he was in Stray Kids, because even when he was in the group he was hated by some fans, and the company don't treated him well. That are some reasons why he left. And maybe it wasn't the best time to leave, but if he stayed longer he probably would have delayed his departure more and more, and he would suffer even more. For those confused: it was the first stage after WJ left the group and they had just had to re-record and choreograph everything. They were so quiet and they are NEVER all quiet at once like that. They looked so exhausted.

That was the most heartbreaking moment as a stay. I miss 9 members, really, but it’s better now for all of them. It took awhile for me to move on after the comeback, but i did, and now i really do believe 8 is fate! The best thing to do is to support Woojin as a soloist, and stray kids as an 8 member group.

I'm still sad after all this time that things didn't work out, but he does have some good solo music. His song in my space is actually very very beautiful, and well done. I still find myself tearing up sometimes if I see an old clip, like the one where they all read the letters and I noticed the moment where woojin and chan are hugging and crying. aish, it hurts.

i know people are commenting a lot on what they were probably feeling, but it could also be they were watching it for the first time and simply remembering what it used to be like and how different it is to how they do it now. i do that sometimes when i see a process i used to do daily and now dont, like ‘oh, its all coming back to me’. at least that’s what some of their blank stares are giving, especially lee know and the way his head moves.

@@healingworldofessentialoilsin short, the performance took so much out on them physically and stressed their bodies to the point where one of the members (don’t remember which one) collapsed from exhaustion on stage. however even with that happening they put on an amazing performance and its definitely worth a watch!!

Don't hate Woojin for what he did, he had a bad time when he was in Stray Kids, because even when he was in the group he was hated by some fans, and the company don't treated him well. That are some reasons why he left. And maybe it wasn't the best time to leave, but if he stayed longer he probably would have delayed his departure more and more, and he would suffer even more. Skz had a hard time, I know.
But I'm still happy for him. I have the best wishes for both of them. ❤
