- Gla1ve didn’t build the Astralis roster. But his unique approach and individual ability have honed it into what is undeniably the greatest team in the history of competitive Counter-Strike. And he’s kept them there.
He stands apart from all other IGLs in the game’s history. And though he did all this, he spent much of his career a long way from the spotlight.
But like others along the way, he believed in his own ability.

I have been on the CS scene for years and I have NEVER seen a IGL that can frag, clutch, lead, even lurk like him. Bloody insane. Hope he gets well soon so that we can see this beast playing in a near future.

@@alvinjohn6682 You can't use NiKo as a good example. He's a great fragger, don't get me wrong, but FaZe's IGLing has been shit ever since they kicked out Karrigan, and the team still don't realise that they actually need an IGL and that 5 fraggers won't actually bring them a Major.

I'm young wrestler and weightlifter. For me also has been diagnosed Osgood-Schlatter disease (+ Sindig-Harsen disease), so it has become pretty hard to train in both sports because both need a lot of squat and other knee irritaning moves. I have fall in love with cs:go. It is like my life; wake up in morning, train aim and deathmatch and at the end of day play some competive. I hope I will get better and some day get to play in FPL.

The OG Virtus Pro team has always been my favorite team in CS, since forever. As a dane though, I can't help but to put Astralis up there, they are just so insane it's incredible haha :D
Miss the days of the plow. Always loved their matches against Fnatic and NiP back in the day, always wondering if the plow would activate or not lol. New VP isn't the same at all :(
@@TheJaBuLs well, old vp was a group of 5 friends. You could see it when they started fading, it wasn't their skill or anything. It was that their will to play together was gone, they weren't feeling it anymore. Shit happened between them, that's how life goes, it happens to the best of us. I'll always remember Neo though, what a pure talent.

That Atlanta major is the best major final played, 16-12 for VP on the first map, and then 16-14 on overpass for Astralis and a 16-14 on train with an incredible comeback

Someone could interview him and ask what's changed in astralis since Kjaerbye left and Magisk got in. I mean, Magisk is a world class player, but Kjaerbye was a very good one tho. So, what has changed in their mindset or in the way that they aproach the game so they got so good and dominant.
Kjaerbye and dupreeh doesn't have overlapping roles any longer. Magisk can entry too but it's mostly up to dupreeh after Kjaerbye left. So role-wise it made a lot more sense with Magisk than Kjaerbye.

I look up to gla1ve alot since him and zonic strategise alot aswell as counter strat their opponents, he plays mind games against the enemy making the right call outs or doing certain executes, the mental aspect in CS is what i love about the game and this guy shows how important it is instead of being an aimstar

Astralis is insane, every player has their own unique tools that result in star studded performances, for some reason it feels that each player in Astralis shine more than any other group of 5 in their respective teams, that is not always true, but i feel impresses by any one of them and believe they can do the unthinkable, something the other team's individuals don't have
