I'm ngl as someone who is mlm. I feel like it's a bit of both. For especially young gay people, I feel there is a pressure to play up to a stereotype. I felt a lot of pressure to play up to the feminine bitchy gay stereotype. I dont know if it's just bc I'm autistic and i only know how to act by mirroring others or what but i know I'm not the only one who feels that way. Dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with those who are genuinely happy being that way, but I feel like it's a problem when it's the only kind of representation we see.
