I’m picking up a 440 tomorrow. I would love to see a video on using the probe and tool setter if you have not already done one yet

I've had my 440 since nov '16. Love the learning experience I've had. I paid it off with a production run of nylon parts in the first year of owning it. I am looking to buy something to sustain what I am doing currently as far as machining jobs. I do predominately small brass parts for fixturing I design for an eyewear company. I was considering a 1100MX but, after thinking about it...why not just buy another 440 for 1/4 the cost? I don't need frills and a big fast machine to make the dollars. BUT MAN, if I hadn't really re-thought the plan out, I'd owe 4x more for the same work I'm doing today on my old 440. Love your vid. Thnks Bro...

I'm going to buy another one this month too! I had my 1st one for 4 yrs now and I'm keeping quite busy with it since. Perfect for what I need making brass fixtures. Almost bought a 770mx, but can't justify it as the 440 is just right per dollar. AND rigid enough for titanium etc...no brainer buy for me.

What is the cost/time comparison between casting metal vs. milling metal? How many burs do you go through on average per piece? what is the cost of burs? casting uses a plaster-investment as the main manufacturing cost.
