R.I.P. Miguel. Albert was one of the best characters!
I second that. I miss so many of these great people.
damn didnt know he died, he was a great actor and had amazing voice... i was hoping he would appear in possible season 4 as well..
@@daaryn Yeah, he was one of the quiet greats. Still, it was a gift to have him in the series.
Totally agree, Just hearing both voices in communication sounds beautiful :)
If not on television ❤️
0:49 David right away fixing it to be correct
It's weird hearing Gordon speak in a normal voice
WHAT?!
@@Finalzero IT'S WEIRD HEARING GORDON SPEAK IN A NORMAL VOICE
@@nathaniel201 ah okay
U HAVE TO SPEAK LOUDER
I love how the video starts with David saying "No no no" in Gordon Cole’s suit.
It’s amazing to see David Lynch fully immersed in his own incredible creation 👍👍👍
The level of talent in one room.
I'm glad this was recommended to me on the front page. Thank you very much for uploading.
I guess it’s caught in the algorithm because I just got it
“You got a plan?”
“This is pretty good from here, with the door in the background, is that-?”
“Listen here champ, that’s short for champion…”

I just recently watched The Return for the 2nd time. I think it was even better the 2nd time around, and I loved it the 1st time I watched it. Such brilliance.
This was Chrystabell's first real acting job. I think she did pretty well.
Working with Lynch and Company must have been a real education for her. Here’s hoping we see her again.
I think she was meh
Nice bod tho
I wouldntve even guessed! She was great
When I look at Chrysta Bell, I think to myself, "wow - now there is some acting."
you forgot the words "attempt at"
Is this sarcastic? Lol
@@Jackp2003 yup
@@SmithMrCorona Aww, haha. I thought her acting fit her character well, it wasn’t the hardest role to play, but she played the part.
I love his acting
Hey, I’m Korean and my last name is You
Are u a big fan of him? 😆
If I was an actor and had been part of any David Lynch film, series, or short film. I would in respect plus free of charge...ask to film loads of future scenes, of anything random what comes towards David Lynch's brain... What connects with the character/characters I've played....even if only one scenes outta One hundred was used for any future instalments.
I have so much respect for David, and how many people he's worked with have now passed away or been taking away to early. I have a strong feeling Miguel Ferrer would have sat down with David and worked on something like this....in hope for future projects linked with Albert.
Just watch how Chrysta Bell looks at David at the beginning (0:10). She falls in love
this showed Cole’s vision of Laura much earlier than the show’s final edit! It looks like it originally happened in one of the first episodes
@Antonio Riccelli It represents Lynch's creative process
@@videonlyn I see your profile is from the movie "enemy", well if you managed to understand that... congrats! I have no clue

Dichotomy of man, Gyllenhal (sp?) plays the same man, just contending with multiple parts of his own psyche, whether to be faithful or unfaithful, and that internal confrontation is shown explicitly. The spider metaphor (all throughout, like when he first visits the high-end club where a woman crushes a tarantula with her shoes) signifies his concept of women-or of starting a family and commitment: he feels spun up and trapped by a predator, there’s a part of him that he quietly idolized and sees as freer, cooler, unconfined, but to actualize that would mean to leave his pregnant woman.
@@videonlyn no, it has real meaning.
@Antonio Riccelli Gordon Cole is a bit of a telepath. In his mind he's searching, searching...that's what the drawing he was making was about. He was in that state when the ether showed him something important when he opened the door.
My god, Chrysta Bell... I feel like I'm still in love with this woman even today. Her eyes are literally trying to enchant me as I watch this video, please send help!
Call for help. 💵
1:38 “knock, knock, knock on the door”. Damn, he is on top of his game
David Lynch is truly brilliant to be able to act and stay on top of everything else as the director

"OK. Do you have a plan?"
God damnn Tammy
The vision of Laura Palmer at that moment is one of the things that baffles me...why it happens then, what it's supposed to mean. I don't concentrate TOO hard on assigning concrete meaning to Lynch symbols but usually you can see how it's sort of emotionally appropriate. Then again it's surprising at that moment partly because you've almost forgotten about Laura by then, which is maybe sort of the point.
Yeah. And why would she be channeled by Albert? Kinda feels like DL had just been awake for 3 days on coffee by this point
I saw it as showing that Gordon is also psychic like many other characters and his intuition was telling him that Laura was important to the events happening at that time
because Laura is the one.
this is the girl

I love the way Lynch let's a scene breathe.
David Lynch is actually quite a good actor!
”I felt it when she hugged me… but this confirms it”
”What Should we do?”
”Keep her close”
Hey, that's the zombie guy at the end of the video that repeats every word in the sheriff station holding cell.
@@Largestmanintheuniverse you wanna say... a doppelganger?
It's not. This guy is the cinematographer Peter Deming. The zombie guy was Jay Aaseng.
@@pothatuu so a doppelganger, gotcha.
Got a light?
This is crazy, he had one of the greatest protagonist ever in Dale Cooper and for the most hyped TV show return ever he destroyed Cooper and took everything on his back putting himself as the main character of the season
Simply genius and twin peaks 3 was the best lynch movie of his career
So I take it you didn’t like it?
Strange that he took quite a while to invite Albert in. Of course, he must have seen him immediatetely when he opened the door.
Yeah, before that he says he’ll see Laura, then she’ll disappear and he’ll invite Albert in
He doesn't see Albert at first. He sees a vision of Laura Palmer, then, as she fades, he sees Albert.
Someone didn't watch the video properly...
@@MontyCantsin5 or the episode
cool
Miguel Ferrer's voice, good god.
I am not your foot.
Chrysta Bell is gorgeous
The lines.
I thought this was going to be the scene where that French bombshell spends 20 minutes just stretching and getting off the sofa....lol
(I'm obviously exaggerating about the 20 minutes....)
You're pretty close though! And thanks for refreshing my memory of that scene
Ask The Gods.
1:51 why did he just out of the blue say “‘ve got something” right in the middle of a sentence?
Her character is coming in with some big info. He's basically telling her to do a dramatic pause before delivering her lines

It must be so hard having all those bloody faces staring in the periphery vision... I'd have to ask them not to do that. Especially that guy in the doorway, hands in pockets looking all over the place. Super distracting.
Since it's rehearsal, I think they get used to it.
I like experimental music but i hate this music in the context of the behind the scenes, i dont think it works at all, and the voice that recites pseudopoetry is annoying as fuck too

after watching the entire original series, i just feel like i wasted a lot of my precious time, never being able to get it all back! now, i'm sure about one thing: i'm NEVER going to watch the remake even if David Lynch himself pays me good money for it! seriously!
