May god save every woman from the fate of being a third wheel. Nothing is more painful to fall in love and then be told to rejoice in today, for tomorrow doesn't exist.
This is a word
Love is love. We say it in regards to LGBQT. Why doesn’t it apply everywhere?
Yes, being cheated on is up there. But such chicks never think of the wife.
@@csharp57 Who says it doesn’t? this makes no sense.
Well said
Girlie cant catch a break 😭 has she ever had a major role where she doesnt cry? Love her thooo
Lea Seydoux is an extraordinary talent.
She does, doesn’t she?! 🥰
@@gob2poof812 is a movie 🤣🤣🤣
Wasted in spectre and NTTD
She is one of the finest international actresses of all time. I hope she get offered more drama films.
yesss
Never ever let yourself do this. Its not romantic. Its destructive and cruel.
EXACTLY
Thank you! This is an affair being romanticized. That’s just wrong.
can someone explain to me what exactly is being romanticized in the film? an affair with a married man? early marriage?
I recommend you not see it.
@@money_glory I also wonder it a lot???
Seems like this film will explore the beauty of life and how it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. You'll have to overcome every single adversity that comes in your way no matter how difficult it may seem.
Especially for the wife and child. Good luck at Hallmark.
Hmm adversity? You mean his wife?
@@lizziebkennedy7505😂😂 you don’t see many movies? Is a film by Mia Hansen Love, very french. The french are like that, is so normal 😂😂😂😂
To all women: never waste your time on a married dude. They don’t care about you. You are disposable. My heart goes out to women who are used this way by such narcissistic men. You could be developing a real relationship instead of wasting your time with someone unavailable.
They won’t even remember you or think about you. Meanwhile, you waste your time. Time is precious. Only spend it on loving, good people.
Amen to that
Alright, but you can't speak on every relationship.
Why do people in general think it's a good idea to be in a relationship with a married person?
I never understood why a woman would be with a man they knew was married especially with children, they do it even though it happens to them, so much for solidarity with women and man blaming.
Another false myth people choose to live by. The young live with their dreams the old sleep with their conscience, remember that.
So many hurt people in this comment section. Get over yourself, your marriage is not sacred, divorce and adultery is natural. This film is so beautiful, because it’s honest and real, and you people can’t get out of your bubble even to enjoy it.
This film won in Cannes. Is my favorite of Mia Hansen Love, very realistic. The story is about her and father, and relationships. She always make films about her life
Thanks. Mia Hansen-Love is a very talented director. I recommend her films very much.
Lea Seydoux just gives off that warm feeling when I watch her.
she was made to play depressing characters
Funny how realistic everyday life characters can be generally described as depressing
And it’s not her; per se, is the French cinema that is against hopeful films…
I really do love her manic pixie carefree character in Midnight in Paris.

@@MarinaAndTheDevil 'cause life is depressing
Lea Seydoux is a fine actress. I find it a little annoying that in French cinema they tend to match a very lovely and young actress with much older man.
Well she's 37 and he's 49, so it's not much of an age difference
@@susiesan but you rarely see the other way around
@@susiesanthat's more than 10 years!!
@@susiesan 😂😂😂😂
@@susiesan of course it is!!!! 12 years????!!!!
J'ai vu ce film hier soir, et il était magnifique, tragique, triste et réconfortant. Also really helped my French practice, and of course Lea Seydoux is just beautiful.
what a quintessentially french movie
obsessed with lea. will watch anything and everything she's in. stunning.
Me too !
This is for the Rohmer heads 🥺
Léa Seydoux is a legendary actress and a graceful stunning woman.
I love Lea Seydoux
who doesn't?
One's Léa Seydoux Fan Always her fan...
💕💕💕💕💕
She’s so beautiful
A huge fan of Mia Hansen-Løve myself ❤️
I love Lea Seydoux in The Lobster and No time to die.
I love her as madeleine
When and where?? I love Lea she's a natural ❤
Chère belle soeur Léa merci beaucoup pour ce film merveilleux et profondément émouvant, que Dieu vous bénisse.
it was very french hahah and i really enjoyed it for that. i guess the infidelity stuff is not for everyone. my girlfriend slept through most of it but the parts she saw she loved too lol. magnificent acting, very pleasingly shot and told, writing almost so quotidian it rides that knife's edge of being boring but also unsettling but altogether a sweet movie. all the best moments are in the last half hour or so imo. lovely
I wanna watch this
This looks lovely and so sad.
I'm really ignorant about films, but what is the technique here used to make the film look so vintage? I really like it
It was shot on film.
@@kraftpunk6654 that would do it
@@nezahuatez They're using a LUT of some kind to emulate a vintage look. You can basically manipulate film and digital to look like anything these days.
you pull the mids around in color correcting. makes it thicker.
Color saturation, they created Technicolor and over saturated the color. Lots of films were and are made where color is manipulated but seldom is it replicated. Color is affected by the light spectrum, light with a lot of red in it will turn white pink etc.
I know this film is going to break me 💔
Where is this shown??
The trailers just dropped the entire plot of the movie...
Sometimes it's not just about the plot...
Yeah we love this summary trailers no need to watch just wait on streaming
So that is where Madeline Swann went to with her daughter. And she got a haircut
Rohmer-ish. Cute
Wow hype
No matter how nice the man or woman is they are not nice if there is cheating control your crutch
wow
💜
Blue is the Second Warmest Colour
I prefer the french trailer to this, it spoils the entire movie and misleads people who haven't seen the movie yet
what's the song playing in the background?
I'm also looking for the song and I just can't find it anywhere.
What's the names songs pleaseee
Usually i love anything with Lea Seydoux, but this was a fast food French flick! Fx4
Does anyone know the song?
Anyone know the song?
I’ll watch anything with her
Great, again about à mec not being able to quit his wife and kid. But he has already by being dishonest about his loyalty, no big deal, just get on with it man. Not too many movies out there with the opposite, ;)) :(((
Sooo french
She look like when She played la vie the Adele.
I hope Sony Pictures Classics makes a French language documentary movie about autism in Ivory Coast and that is suitable for all ages and hope it’s of Sony everywhere and releases everywhere
1:43 minutes of sappy drama a la francais is enuf--
ليا سيدو تجعل كل شيء رائع!
SPOILERS!
I would watch this but be on fire 🔥 on the inside especially knowing that I don't like cheating humans
I'm in
Looks amazing.
But such a long trailer i think shows way too much.
Agreed! That's the way with so many trailers! Too long, too revealing.
Of course he's married. He will stay with his wife and she will come out of this broken and yet through blurry tears, stronger. Blah. Always the same thing.
Why does this look like a 90s movie?
30 year cycle
Sorry Lea. I was expecting to see Adele 😁
Melvil Popaoud is a handsome guy.
Omg Death stranding!?
Interesting slice of life...

🎩💎💍👀
This generation's Mia Farrow.
So this is Death Stranding 2? 😮
It's a prequel.
Why all french films include a man unfaithful to his wife? pfff
Because in a moovie everything about love and engagement or sexuality are more complex.
In reality, I don't think it is. I lived there, and know many French people and cheating breaks relationships the same there as it does anywhere else.
@@giuliettachicago The question is why all French movies follow this trope when There are so many tropes to develop a movie.
So much revealed info... i just wanted to watch a snap of it😢
fragile, but not that fragile
Shame on Léa Seydoux for collaborating in the disrespect of the artist Joan Mitchell.
Eeeww another creepy older married guy hitting on a younger woman! eWWW I am so tired of this tripe.
Stop saying Mia Hansen _Love_ , it's *Løve*. Loo.
Is it pronounced Loo?
@@ariellekwong206 With Danish pronunciation it's between Lou-fah and Loo-fah, but the 2nd syllable is very faint or almost nonexistent. In German it's Löwe.
Another movie involving marital infidelity...ugh
And? You know the filmography of Mia Hansen Love, she make films about her life. And the theme of the movie is about her father….
I think it's cool for a wife to have a boyfriend. If the husband's okay with it, it's a win-win.
@game dev and chill "Tyrone"? Really? LOL
I’ll let you know how my tomorrow goes 😉
@game dev and chill - "Then Tyrone moves in"? So you feel threatened by the sexual appeal of black men?
I taught this lesbian movie lol
eww... another movie about an affair? Is this hollywood?

my girlfriend did fall asleep. but i enjoyed it even though i felt not much interesting happened for the first hour and twenty minutes or so. the last half hour was really great though, it paid off
I hate french movies fully pointless and depressing!!
She’s never become a star shame
Gosh, it looks familiar.. Don't listen to any "advice" here, just follow your heart. He enriched my life and I his, we both know what LOVE is and what a heartbreak is and, for what it's worth, we have something to cherish and remember decades later. C'est la vie.
Yeah, only the French...
For the rest of us heartbreak scars...
Not for the wife, and his child. Blame it on c’est la vie to,avoid facing what it actually makes you.
are all French women Byks or what? ( replace B with D because CZcamss feelings are hurt 😢)
So you think all women with short hair are lesbians?

American films are better. This looks so boring and stale. Look how much better the images are in Marvel Universe for example.
I loathe adultery, even fictional.
