Cutting out the damaged edge and turning around is a great tip. Think leaving the grass seed exposed will probably have it swiftly eaten by birds however.
Very interesting approach, loved the idea. Quick question on the second way of repair: why didn’t you go around the edge of your ready grass to make a cutting? Many thanks 😊 🙏🏼
This guy changes his story with monotonous regularity. In a previous video on sowing a lawn he expressly warns against overseeding - here he clearly uses far too much seed. In that same video he also said DO NOT water seeds in...in this video he says water in!!
I take it as he said in that other video avoid seeding when it's hot in the middle of summer. This video he was showing you what to do if you want to do it in the middle of summer, water it because there's less rain and I guess over seed it because more of it will die.
That, is absolute genius! This short video has fixed 3 of my lawn problems. Brilliant. Thanks!
Loved the border fix by cutting a square slab of turf and turning it in on itself.... genius. Just genius.

Why use a kitchen knife when you have the half moon spade?
Ah no! You had to go and do the rainbow stripe thing. Now I'm going to have to stop elsewhere.
Surely there’s a much more efficient way to cut that square patch 🤦🏼♂️
Certainly not cutting a square out the middle of a square.

Whats that got to do with it. Small lawn large lawn, same repair.
