I think soundwave and starscream should be taller deluxes not voyagers and I also think dreadwing and insecticon should be voyagers not leaders but in the rest yeah you’re right
Yeah, as someone who got into the fandom around 2007, you were very fortunate to have Prime be your introduction to the franchise. It remains my favorite series even now. And the Vehicon figures are arguably still some of the best Transformers ever made.
The fact that they cancelled this line here in the US is a crime. 😢 I think the only character they didn't get to was Ratchet. They have a deluxe version for the RiD line, but a FE Ratchet, in voyager scale, would have been amazing. Maybe a 3rd party company will make one. We can hope right? APC seems to be consistently releasing Prime figures. Their new "zombie" Cliffjumper is available for preorder, so I'm debating if I want to get him or not.

Tip for the stickers: dont use your hands to apply them. Gentley peel them off with a toothpick (or an exacto knife if you have one) and set them Gentley on the figure. Then use a cotton swab to press the stickers on.
This is beautiful. We need more. I want to see a knockout re-release for the 10th anniversary but I know it probably won't happen unless there was a screen accurate figure of him that didn't get a widespread release.

Watching and enjoying the Transformers Prime with my young nephew was what ignited my adult collecting. RID Voyager Optimus to be exact. For me, the authentic look, playability and cool and intuitive transformation sets this line apart.

Animated wasnt really kidish, it was more kid friendly but it had a lot of serious themes and storylines enjoyable for older audiences such as ratchets ptsd, Blackarachnias origin, or pretty much everything from season 3.

I’m so glad Hasbro did this. The cheapest way I could find to get Prime Breakdown was their Silas version of him and even that was almost $100. Hasbro had just saved me a lot of money with these anniversary and I hope the Legacy line will give us more. I got high hopes on that new Skyquake figure
The Jet Vehicon is a heavy remold of the TFP RID (not RID 2015) car Vehicon from 2012 not the earlier First Edition one from 2011 which was different in terms of engineering and design. I can't wait for this set as these will be the first tf figures I have bought in 7 years!
These are straight rereleases of their Arms Micron counterparts, save perhaps for the instructions. The jet Vehicon is a heavy remold of his grounded counterpart. The Arms Microns themselves turn into an iguana (who's a remold of the ground Vehicon's boar blaster partner) and a rhinoceros.
I'm 43 and G1 is still my favorite but transformers prime is a very close 2nd for me it waz a fantastic show. i really hope they re-release more of this prime figures. i did get all of the 1st editions but would really like more of the 1st edition vehicon for my collection
I still kick myself for not buying all the Deluxes back in the day when they ended up at Five Below. Soundwave, Cliffjumper, Ratchet, Arcee... So many I could have had for $5 each... Wasn't collecting then.

Might consider putting Hades Megatron on the wishlist as well, but mostly War Breakdown and the Jet Vehicon even more so. :D Honestly, though? I'd also LOVE to see a 10th anniversary release of that "Final Battle Megatron", with his right arm repainted to resemble Liege Maximo's right arm, as well as those three Microns Shadow Gabu, Shadow Baru, and Shadow Dai, that combine to form the "Dark Energon Saber". Dunno why, but I've always taken a personal interest in that one... But yeah, definitely want this War Breakdown and Jet Vehicon overall. :) Oh! And wouldn't it be great one day, for there to be some anniversary releases for TF Animated as well? We could finally get wide releases of certain figures that were only available in ToysRUs - such as Rodimus, Arcee, Cybertron Mode Ratchet, and Ironhide. Or, better yet, certain cancelled figures such as Hot Shot, Blackout, Hydrodrive Bumblebee, Wingblade Optimus Prime, and even Marauder Megatron! U WOT M8! Nice! Love it... Breakdown is literally the only figure I am missing that has been released. I had a chance to get it when it first released but with import cost at the time. I think it was 60 or 70 bucks plus 30 shipping. At the time I would have never have paid that. Little did I know it never released State side until now.
Nice to see my boy Jet Vehicon getting such high praise. IMO it’s the best cannon fodder design across all the things I’ve watched. Also, as many has pointed out, Jet Vehicon is retooled from the second mold of the regular one, which toned a lot down on the back kibble compared to the First Edition version. A shame that I never got the chance to get either of the cars, though I once had a JV Leader, which was a silver repaint.
Great review! I was fortunate enough to collect most of the Transformers Prime figures when they were first released. Hopefully they'll released more of these fantastic sets, possibly a white version of the jet Vehicons? Speedy recovery!

TRansformers prime was the best transformers cartoon in recent years, I havent seen the netflix series to compare that to and these figures are pure awesomeness!
I remember paying 55$ for a voyager Breakdown, had him shipped in from Japan. One of the hammer holders ended up wearing down over time, I need to fix that at some point so he can actually have a hammer fist. Such a cool figure, it's a shame that it didn't get released in the US on a more mass production scale.
I had 3 Breakdown toys. One was a Cyberverse scale figure with a second version, a green recolor of Breakdown and a brown recolor to be the Autobot Fallback. The third toy I had was a Burger King kids meal toy that had 2 hammers and spun around when you squeezed his legs.
TFP was the last solid transformers series, everything since has been low budget, aimed specifically/primarily at children, and/or just Bad. I fell out of the fandom for a few years because there just wasn't any quality content coming out. It's nice to see some recognition for the last decent show, and i'm totally jazzed about this two pack. Finally I can have knockout and breakdown together on my shelf ; - ;

I was at a young age when I first saw Transformers, but personally, I grew up with G1 & Prime, & I tried to get into Animated (the movies, well, the closest thing I got to that continuity was the toys)
Just putting this out here. We need new molds for predacons. Loved the idea of predac9ns in this universe, and sad we never got molds as great as the on show representation of darksteel and skylynx
Hasbro, We want those cancelled Animated figures. Hopefully 1 day we'll get those unreleased figures as Gen Selects even though I think it's highly unlikely.

The Arms Micron series were exclusive released in Japan, maybe available in Asian market. Here in west it was available through online retailers, kinda expansive if I remember.
never got one before and TF Prime is the one line I am wanting to have as complete as possible, stoked for this release as getting an old one is stupid expensive. hoping its not sold out before i get paid thursday
Neither of these two got released in the US except as convention exclusive repaints. These figures were Japanese exclusive back when the series was on air.
Optimus Prime from this series was my first Transformers I bought after decades of not buying any Transformers toys. I regretted applying stickers on my Arcee and Skywarp, the quality of the stickers are just terrible and it makes them looked cheap. Good thing WFC series decided not to go with any stickers.
Already got Breakdown back in 2012 and still have him 'Thank God', not intrested in vehicon! Pre-ordered Megatron looking forward to him when he arrives! However this should be a great opportunity to re-release the first edition figures.
It's such an amazing thing given that this is filmed on the same day as The Hub's 10th Anniversary, which gave us Transformers Prime, AKA one of the best TF series next to Animated and Cyberverse. I so can't wait to get these 2 guys.
Pretty sure (like you said) both figures were actually Asia only on the original release, which sucked. I think there was a silver version of Jet Vehicon too. The stickers literally are not hard at all to apply. Good tweezers or a sharp knife help though.
I never got Breakdown, but, surprising no one, I DID get the Cylas Breakdown retool. I love the molded in Silas under his chest. I’m probably going to pick this up, too!

The Vehicon is a heavy retool of the Prime RID Vehicon, and the purple is brighter more pink oon this one. The first edition one was a lot blockier and less show accurate.

Breakdown didn't deserve to die in my TF Story he's a Autobot
In mine and my brother's stories, he is truly resurrected and him and Knockout get revenge on Vampire Queen Airachnid. It was pretty awesome.
I need this set. The Jet Vehicon was one of my favorite designs from the show. Breakdown will go well with my Bulkhead. Absolutely perfect.
Sadly it goes well with the rid version not the superior first edition version.

TRansformers prime was the best transformers cartoon in recent years, I havent seen the netflix series to compare that to and these figures are pure awesomeness!

I remember paying 55$ for a voyager Breakdown, had him shipped in from Japan. One of the hammer holders ended up wearing down over time, I need to fix that at some point so he can actually have a hammer fist. Such a cool figure, it's a shame that it didn't get released in the US on a more mass production scale.
I had 3 Breakdown toys. One was a Cyberverse scale figure with a second version, a green recolor of Breakdown and a brown recolor to be the Autobot Fallback. The third toy I had was a Burger King kids meal toy that had 2 hammers and spun around when you squeezed his legs.
I miss TF Prime...
Imagine if after Kingdom, they bring updated Prime stuff. People would lose their minds.

TFP was the last solid transformers series, everything since has been low budget, aimed specifically/primarily at children, and/or just Bad. I fell out of the fandom for a few years because there just wasn't any quality content coming out. It's nice to see some recognition for the last decent show, and i'm totally jazzed about this two pack. Finally I can have knockout and breakdown together on my shelf ; - ;
I’m glad you think hasbro is taking care of its fans. But I wish they would take care of the order I placed weeks and weeks ago. Or maybe even just answer the emails I sent weeks ago asking about the status.
I was at a young age when I first saw Transformers, but personally, I grew up with G1 & Prime, & I tried to get into Animated (the movies, well, the closest thing I got to that continuity was the toys)

Just putting this out here. We need new molds for predacons. Loved the idea of predac9ns in this universe, and sad we never got molds as great as the on show representation of darksteel and skylynx

Hopefully 1 day we'll get those unreleased figures as Gen Selects even though I think it's highly unlikely.

And four thousand miles away, Thew's ears perk up at the mention of Skywarp.

The Arms Micron series were exclusive released in Japan, maybe available in Asian market. Here in west it was available through online retailers, kinda expansive if I remember.
I got the original vehicon when it came out this one looks just like the original car model but with a back pack still a fun/ great transformer

Neither of these two got released in the US except as convention exclusive repaints. These figures were Japanese exclusive back when the series was on air.

Optimus Prime from this series was my first Transformers I bought after decades of not buying any Transformers toys. I regretted applying stickers on my Arcee and Skywarp, the quality of the stickers are just terrible and it makes them looked cheap. Good thing WFC series decided not to go with any stickers.
The Jet Vehicon is not a heavy remold of the First Edition but the better version of that particular figure which was the RID version.
I could care less what they were planning but I really wanted a season 4

Already got Breakdown back in 2012 and still have him 'Thank God', not intrested in vehicon! Pre-ordered Megatron looking forward to him when he arrives!
However this should be a great opportunity to re-release the first edition figures.

It's such an amazing thing given that this is filmed on the same day as The Hub's 10th Anniversary, which gave us Transformers Prime, AKA one of the best TF series next to Animated and Cyberverse. I so can't wait to get these 2 guys.

Pretty sure (like you said) both figures were actually Asia only on the original release, which sucked. I think there was a silver version of Jet Vehicon too.
The stickers literally are not hard at all to apply. Good tweezers or a sharp knife help though.
I never got Breakdown, but, surprising no one, I DID get the Cylas Breakdown retool. I love the molded in Silas under his chest. I’m probably going to pick this up, too!

I have seen Breakdown as high as $160 and as low as $80 glad about this release especially at the price point!
The Vehicon is a heavy retool of the Prime RID Vehicon, and the purple is brighter more pink oon this one. The first edition one was a lot blockier and less show accurate.
