I wish a seller and a bike like this were around in CA, I would buy it today. sigh
Oh man check Facebook marketplace. Looootta people looking to sell lower end cc bikes lately
What do you think about stretching the gears out on a v start 250 to make it more highway capable?
I have it on the high way before a hand full of times it’s better to let the Rpms up in the tq range than slow them down at freeway speed
Besides me being 6'1, also the lack of temp sensor and air cooled makes me wonder if I should commute in California with one
Well the only thing I would say is if you end up sitting a lot in traffic sit the bike off when your sitting for a long time.. Run real good oil in the bike. Amsoil motorcycle oil is some of the best for heat. I mean think of all the Harley’s out there running around and there air cooled with just oil coolers… it would be fine..
I’m also 6’1 and rode this bike 35 miles one way to work. So over 60 miles a day .. little small but not bad ..
They there, would you say that a 2010 with 1,200kms on it for $3,000CAD is a fair price? Bike looks fairly clean in all the pictures
If it’s really clean it’s probably good 👍🏼
What better Honda rebel 300 2018 or this one ?
These two are two different bikes .. the star 250 is a v twin engine and the Honda is a single cylinder.. so the power curve is different just depends on what your looking for out of a small cc bike
Don’t you septics follow the road rules?
I wonder if I should get this or a Honda shadow?
I personally haven’t rode the Honda Shadow. But I can say for a little twin 250 it did well with me on it .. my commute is 45 mins on some two lane highway at 55-60 and wasn’t a problem…
Pretty good sound and video what are you using?
Only 3k miles in ten years? What city?
Yeah someone didn’t ride it much .. the new owner has the bike now in Bellingham
