- In this comprehensive tutorial Carrying Consultant, Laurna, takes you step by step through using a shorty wrap for this hip carry. A slipknot allows you to slide the knot up and down the tail of the wrap for easy adjustments.
Once you have tied the knot you can leave it in place so the sling is set up for re-use.

Thank you!
You're welcome!
slipknot yeah!!!!!!!🤘
So incredibly helpful!! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video. Can you still do this with your size? Is there a way to tie off long tails if using a longer sling?
Hi Francesca, do you mean, can you still do it with your Base Size? You could wrap the tails around underneath baby, crossing under their bum and tying at your back. It is a good carry for a shorter sling though.
@@OschaSlingsOfficial thanks, I'm trying to find an appropriate tie for a longer sling for hip carrying a toddler. Would you recommend the Robin's hip carry instead?
