I'm a bit late to the Warcry party, but I managed to find a brand new copy of this from a proper retailer today. Watching this video has me really salivating.
It looks like the above ground terrain is the same as the first starter, but a little less of it.
It's missing some ruins and the awesome head statue. That first starter was an awesome set!
@@tabletopskirmishgames I agree, but the going rate for the first set is expensive. The addition of the underground setting in Catacombs makes up for the missing above ground terrain. How is the game play using the underground board? It seems like it would channel the fights to specific choke points. Did you do a battle report using it?
Bought this just now for the kids Xmas bundle in the ganes workshop sale for £87 which is a very good price. I know they are likely clearing stock in readiness for the new harvest box but I like the look of catacombs. Look forward to putting it together with the kids and in the meantime reviewing your coverage.

I think it'll be priced quite high now as it's not widely available. Red Harvest is another good starter set option. Two great warbands and a lot of terrain. You might find that in some FLGSs. The newer sets have less terrain and aren't all starter sets, but they'll be cheaper. Hope you can find one!
