There is no simple answer. Play game, watch some videos and build your own playstyle which will fit you

Blastoise is at this moment really strong in every situation. Goodra is also fun.
Lemme Crack this
When you are taking blastoise, mostly your attack are stun/dmg ( Surf/Rapid) But in goodra, mostly your attack are heal/defense (Muddy/ Dragon). If you prefer to take Blastoise your mostly stunning and have good hindrance effect but in other cases Goodra's attack are healing, which makes you to survive for much/bit longer time (As per you play).IMO Blastoise is better because if you hindrance your enemies you have bit/longer time to survive and you can also defend. As goodra's attack slows the enemies. But I also prefer picking me, Sableye who can hindrance/defend/score 😊

@@_Sableyeyou are forgetting Goodra has slow and stun hindrance as well with either power whip or acid spray, spray is a sure hit move and can create problems for speedsters who like to run away.

Lemme Crack this
Umbreon -> It is mostly mostly support when using Mean Look + Wish but wish has no effect if the ally gets KO'ed before wish is used. While Mean look is good for defend it has a downside. Like when you are not inside its area you won't be using boosted attack; so no healing can be done. But it's 2nd Moveset Foul Play + Snarl has good hindrance effect + knockback. The only downside for this moveset is that if you use snarl before foul play the dmg can be reduced. Snarl has a downside too (I think) that is like if the enemy is out the range of Snarl it can attack Umbreon.
Goodra -> It's first moveset is defend (I think) and second moveset is attack. Goodra's special think is that in some moments you can survive for longer duration in a pinch even if it's EX pokemons. I don't see any downside but the only issue with Goodra is that in early game it will be bit tough to get KO's but if you level up it will be good. IMO Resonant in goodra can really scale up with hp recoveration and can actually survive for longer duration. Goodra's basic attack is also very much good as it also reduces cooldown and slows the enemies; this makes rapid-fire scarf to scale up with it.
But I prefer taking sableye
