Love the confidence brodie! Good luck this week!!
I feel great about this card! Unlike last week. 😅
Best I’ve felt about a card all year!
@@138MMA Love it! Lets hope it goes great!
Good video man 🇧🇷
Thanks brother! 👊
Great picks. I'm with you on Battle and Nunes, too. Good luck this weekend!
🔥🔥🔥 those might have been my two hottest takes so us being on the same page is a great sign! 🪧
My picks for this fight card from most confidence to least confidence are:
Nzechukwu, Davis, Moisis, Battle, Chaisson, Filho, Culibao, Mckenna, Rodriguez, Meerschaert, Anheliger, Tybura, Chandler.
Good Luck Everyone!
Best of luck brother!
I like the read on Filho I was actually debating him but you spoke what was on my mind and I think the high pressure of Filho will eventually breakdown Ode so the late 2nd/3rd stoppage makes sense.
Nice! If we’re on the same page I feel even better about my pick now. 📄
Few early weeks, now we've resorted back to the old me. 😄
Alas, we're here and ready to hear some breakdowns from Prof. 138! Let's cash us some slips tomorrow and most importantly, enjoy another weekend of fights! 👊💸
Just happy you made it, my friend. 👊
I feel you on the first fight bro, Anheliger looked like a great underdog option on paper, but after watching some tape I'm gonna have to lean the other way as well
I like the experience of Anheliger, but unfortunately that’s not enough to sway me.
@@138MMA same, he actually has a pretty solid resume when you look into it, but he has shown a tendency to lose minutes at times, especially recently, and I feel like he will just be a bit less explosive and active in this matchup
younger dude from longo - vs older man . thats my summary
@@JD-bx7ob
Good analysis, I think these 6-0 fighters are tough to bet on.
Absolutely! As you know from the Patreon, I’ve passed in regards to a bet on that particular fight. Hard to place money on the unknown.
I appreciate you picking that last one even tho it’s a hard one lol. Let’s go!!!
Thanks man. Tough night at the office with bad judging and a no contest
@@138MMA it was stupid in my opinion.
Picks were still good.
If Battle gets his rightful win, we clean up!! But…. That’s the way it goes
Hello
Please write the results of the analyzes as text.
Im leaning McKenna too, but not enough to bet it at the current odds
Yeah I get that, the odds are a bit rough. Could be a live bet spot if you’re into that sort of thing.
@@138MMA ayyy, exactly what I was thinking! I don't really wanna bet it where it is prefight, but I'm gonna be super interested in it live
That Grigoriou reach isn't correct, right? Tapology shows 67.5 instead of that monster 76.5 you've got listed.
Lastly, I often watch at work without sound, and the subtitles are *fine* despite not being real-time and accurate half of the time, have you considered circling your lean to end your analysis before transitioning to the next?
Oh geez, I must have written it up there in the wrong order. 😅 well I’m a dummy 🤣🤣
I usually try to point to the side I like but if I remember to do it next time I record I can circle or make a check or something next to the one I’m picking.
Imma go with GM3 and Bryan Battle this weekend! 🙏🇺🇸💸
I don’t mind it!! Love Battle in this one. 👊
@@138MMA :)
Mike Davis and ange loosa parley this week 🤞
I'm with u I bet ange Davis ml Sunday
@@daniellebrooks7510 🙏
We couldn’t be further off on the Loosa pick, but Davis 💯
@@138MMA my reasoning is because of the gore fight for battle, who I think gets smoked by loosa. I also think loosa has really good boxing. And striking wise he looked good and also competitive with JDM in the striking. If he can takes JDMS shots I think he’ll take battles. And I think his wrestling is solid enough to keep it up and maybe even bring it down if he wants to.
I actually expected loosa to be the favourite so I’m surprised ur this confident in battle tbh ahaha
@seanmmaii7018 maybe I’m way off, I have been before as we all know 😅
Battle beat Gore too and I do believe he’s developed a ton since then.
I’m going to look like a real joke if Battle gets wrecked 😂
your boy is fighting tonight in MIami BKFC . you got any BKFC picks ? I know its chalk city. just for fun I parlayed franco( female) , bargallo and pulgar - 1$ pays 104. those are the only dogs I think have a remote chance. Franco fighting a latina in miami - probly not good but shes a hawaiian so that alone - shes tuff . still betting almost all the faves but I do think lebon could have a fight on his hands
I haven’t done into the card at all outside of my guy Brandon. He’s undersized for the weight class but he’s my friend so I threw some money in him at plus 500. Hopefully he pulls it off! Has had his hip replaced since the last one so should be able to move better.
Hope you threw something on my guy!! Brandon got that win! 🏆
Maybe consider adding an intangible section?
I do try to highlight any intangibles that are notable but I’m not sure there are enough in each fight to warrant an entire section. Do you have any specific intangibles you’re thinking about?
@@138MMA Well, here's one of the reasons that I brought up this idea. I was listening to your breakdown of McKenna v Amorim. It was a solid breakdown; however, McKenna has went through sickness all of last year. I feel like those things could matter when breaking down fights because they could affect the outcome. Things like that can affect her mindset, confidence, aggressiveness, etc. See what I mean?
@JacobMBz I do see what you mean. I didn’t mention that because I don’t know enough about the situation. No idea what kind of sickness it was or how it will affect her in this fight. Do you know more?
@@138MMA Yes. I know covid was one of them. Channels like The Allstar, MMA Junkie, Cageside Press, and other various ones usually have interviews for fighters that aren't on the UFC Media Day. You could find out about things like injuries/sicknesses, life situations, how they feel they match up with their opponent, their preparation, etc.
@JacobMBz sickness and injury I can see being valuable for sure. I do listen to some interviews but some of them are just unlistenable. MMA junkie… idk who they have doing these interviews but it typically is two dudes who are awful to listen to. My guy Couch Warrior on the other hand, he just interviewed Jared Gooden, and that interview was great!!
Small cage, plus how easy Ramona got the TDs, is why I haven’t bet Nunes, but this might end up looking like a huge discount. I want to see what everything looks like on fight day…
Chelsea Chandler is a bad fighter. It’s just plain and simple, she isn’t good. She’s just big. That’s her only positive attribute.
I know, but at some point size matters, Josi is so tiny! Weight aside, it's like an atomweight fighting a feather. I'm hoping money comes in on fight day when casuals see the height difference and then I can get a nice line on Josi.
@pinkfreud13 From my perspective, skill has to at least be remotely close for this much size to make that big of a difference. Size is huge if the skill is close or if say Chandler was 6’4. For example, I’ll spar guys who are 5’11 and outweigh me by like 40 pounds, but they are new to fighting and are unskilled and I’m able to get the better of them. (I’m 5’8”) the problem is when those same guys get skilled, then even if I’m technically better, if they are remotely close, I struggle to close distance. All that said, Nunes is better by a mile. Chandler isn’t good and I never say that about fighters but it’s true.
I'm 5'8 too, 145lbs, so what you're saying is, with my skills, I shouldn't fight anyone larger than... a child. Sounds about right 😄
I love insight like that from your personal experience 🙏 I'm waiting for other books to open it, but Josi's TKO has my attention.
@pinkfreud13 🤣🤣🤣 I take it that means you have no skills. Funny enough, we’re exactly the same size though! Same height and weight exactly.
*67.5
What’s 67.5? I recorded this last night so I probably forgot half the stuff I said.
Picking mckenna with 1 year off and the last 2 girls she beat were strikers and both cut, this is the first grappler she is fighting, silva got his back taken multiple times against artega so culibao should finish if he gets his back, plus silva short notice, you picked nunes off a year and she was taken down at will against a girl named barboza so if chandler is smart she takes her down since she has the 6 in height advantage and her loss to dumont is a better loss than losing to pascual or fairn
You’re such an instigator Danielle, I love it! 😂
The layoff for McKenna is a concern but ultimately wasn’t enough to sway me.
The “girl named Barbosa” that Nunes fought is absolutely legit! The fact that Nunes was able to turn it around and get that win is impressive.
Culibao did show some grappling skill in his last matchup but he’s generally willing to trade on the feet and seems to prefer that quite a bit. Like I said in the video, that one’s a close one.
@@138MMA I like discussing mma maybe you make a point that makes sense and changes my pick someone said deni had staph that stopped me from betting a paycheck on deni so I like exchanging information
@daniellebrooks7510 💯 I do the same. That’s why I’m always asking everyone for their takes in the comments. I’ve had people sway me before, especially in those close fights. There’s no shame in changing an opinion when given a new perspective.
@@daniellebrooks7510Do you agree with ANY of the picks? S TFU! 🤡
So did you put your money where your mouth is and bet Burns last week ?
Some real weird reaches for the heights and matchups on this card lol
Dude I was thinking the same thing!! In my notes I have it highlighted in nearly every fight! I opted not to put it on the board for all of them, but it’s a wild card from that aspect.
@@138MMA hell yea bro🤣🤣🤣 what a weird coincidence
Last week yeah boy hit big with MVP and Porier. Topped all the winnings with O Malley ML in the end. Thx for the breakdowns bro! 🔥💸🫡
Nice work Normy!!! Sounds like you killed it!! Let’s get that money again this week. 💰
