- In this video, we go over what it takes to properly add the china Jeep JK hard body to the scx10 ii chassis. My way of doing this lets you remove the body in 5 seconds, no screws! This is the china Austar chassis I review in another video, but its the same for the Axial. It will involve buying a $100 ssd scale transmission to keep from cutting a hole in the interior. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I have this exact yellow Jeep body for two years now .. new in box still.. didn’t know what to do with it... now I’m gonna do exact same build.. love this...
All your tips have been very helpful. I like your ways of mounting this body better than what I did myself almost 4 years ago. Thanks for sharing
No problem!
Awesome man. This was bad ass. Can’t wait to watch all the videos in the future
This video just blew my mind, I’ve been waiting to see someone break down the specs or build like you did! I’m very interested in building my crawler I got witch isn’t no $500-1000 one but it’s a RgT Bowler with a very unusual wheelbase of 287mm. But idk maybe the keep body will fit with miner customization... anyway love the build very inspiring to someone like me who just started!
Thank You! I will have a interesting truck build coming soon!
Nice work! I'm interested in doing this, so I will be looking forward to the SSD trans install. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Will be coming soon, waiting on shocks.
You Sir earned my sub! For the simple fact that you can make something bad into something good for not that much, not everyone has 1k for a hobby rc.
Thanks!
Very good work..!! After seeing your video I will have to rebuild mine because I stay very high.
Thanks!
I have a knockoff chassis as well, it wasn't branded as austar or injora. So far, I've got desert lizards 90mm shocks, metal shock hoops to use the axial body mount kit, mounted a jeep xj body on it
NOBODY comments ABOUT the Videos they watch!!! 😡
Thanks for this. I haven't seen any good description of HOW to mount one of those Bodies!! I may try it now. 😉
I like that Servo Mount! That's been an issue with my current build. I'll have to try to find that Mount.

Thank You! I was going to send you a link to the servo mount, but I must have bought the last one in the USA, the ony ones I found was in china!
That doesn't surprise me...
We may have to get TOILET PAPER from China!! 😠😖
yeah very nice video. I invite you to watch my crawler trx4 in action too, see if you like it. czcams.com/video/jhiB6t1Ixys/video.html
OH, and you have a new subscriber 🤙🌟
Sweet!
Nice video Bro, I like it.
Thanks!
Hi mate! Nice work and thank you for sharing with us. I have one question: I wish to do the same with mine but I can't find the parts. Would you please give me the reference of links (for axial SCX 10 - II) to make them shorter? (Injora Jeep body), Thank you in advance.
you should see mine ive been working on for about 4 years now. full welded rollcage , custom tire rack, custom cnc aluminum v8 , steel axle housings cnc , open hood, custom method rims with working valve stems and much much more.
Very cool!
Considering all the pro's and con's, i going for it, i think with the wright tweeks it can be competitive with the real scx 🤔👊
Anything can be upgraded! The shocks are a must.
@@oddsandendsrc thx for the intell bro 👊 would you mind that i give you a shoutout when i do a video about this truck? 🤙⭐
@@TheRChobstar no problem
Nice video. +1 Subscriber.
Please nest time put the links for the products you use
Hi mate! Thanks for video. What maximum size of battery i can put in there? Would that 3shard body gens ace 5500 mah fit? Depth 38mm, Length 138mm, Width 46mm
Sorry, that will be to big. Probably more like a 3s 4000 or 3500 under the hood.
waw that looks like pretty hard then i though
you should have started with the 275mm wheelbase injora makes . everything the same pieces as this one
I eventually replace everything on it except the frame rails, they are the only cheap part left.
@@oddsandendsrc would a scx10 trans fit it
So what do you do with all the clone parts your not gonna use?
I tossed most of them
@@oddsandendsrc ah I didn't know if you did like a junk pile build once in a while
So how did you shorten the wheelbase
I go over that in the video
@@oddsandendsrcI must have missed the Right moment, sorry for the confusion 😂
Hey mate, the 60mm links in the rear did you use yeah racing ? I can’t find anything on their site that small. Many thanks
Yes, they are yeah racing. I had bought them off ebay when I got them. You can use any brand if you can't find the yr ones
Lol u do know there's a 275 mm wheelbase chassis right
There wasn't when I made this video. Plus it would still have to be modified to properly get the frame rails in the right spot under the jeep body.
