Jeep JK hard body installation on Axial SCX10 ii chassis (Austar or Injora clone)

  • In this video, we go over what it takes to properly add the china Jeep JK hard body to the scx10 ii chassis. My way of doing this lets you remove the body in 5 seconds, no screws! This is the china Austar chassis I review in another video, but its the same for the Axial. It will involve buying a $100 ssd scale transmission to keep from cutting a hole in the interior. If you have any questions, please let me know.

All your tips have been very helpful. I like your ways of mounting this body better than what I did myself almost 4 years ago. Thanks for sharing

This video just blew my mind, I’ve been waiting to see someone break down the specs or build like you did! I’m very interested in building my crawler I got witch isn’t no $500-1000 one but it’s a RgT Bowler with a very unusual wheelbase of 287mm. But idk maybe the keep body will fit with miner customization... anyway love the build very inspiring to someone like me who just started!

I have a knockoff chassis as well, it wasn't branded as austar or injora. So far, I've got desert lizards 90mm shocks, metal shock hoops to use the axial body mount kit, mounted a jeep xj body on it

Thanks for this. I haven't seen any good description of HOW to mount one of those Bodies!! I may try it now. 😉
I like that Servo Mount! That's been an issue with my current build. I'll have to try to find that Mount.

Hi mate! Nice work and thank you for sharing with us. I have one question: I wish to do the same with mine but I can't find the parts. Would you please give me the reference of links (for axial SCX 10 - II) to make them shorter? (Injora Jeep body), Thank you in advance.

There wasn't when I made this video. Plus it would still have to be modified to properly get the frame rails in the right spot under the jeep body.
