    I would like to see this on darker hair base bump like a level 5. This one was too easy for a demo.

      I feel like a base break is really most effective for the lighter levels anyway. A base break on a level 5, especially in our melanin enhanced beauties, would expose too much deep warmth. That almost burnt red color.

      @skullmama13 Před rokem +3

      I don't think I would base break level 5 or darker

      A lot of colourists for these companies are not great in general in my experience but are chosen for people skills.

      @@skullmama13Same, I'd be scurred. The only way I would break a level 5 is by using a level 6.

    Could you pull it thru the ends for a short time, if needed? If so, what if you need a different shade of base break for new growth & ends? Thank you ❤️

      Great question! Yes you absolutely you can pull the base breakers through the ends to help tone the blonde highlights. 🖤

    Hi Ian, what would happen if I use a 20, 30, or 40vol on a virgin level 2-3 root? I'm curious as to what the end results would be on black hair? Would it cancel out the orange or would it give me the traditional hot roots just like regular color would? Thanks!

      Hi there! It is only recommended to use BLONDME Premium Oil developer in 7 volume or 20 volume for up to 10mins. Using a higher volume will over oxidize the pigments and also break down natural pigment.

    • @JDoe-hb7pc

      @@SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA I'm thinking the base breaker is intended for people who already have perhaps an 8 and want to break the base to blend the blonde not Black hair. Black would probably require lightening not this product to get to blonde. Hope I interpreted that correctly.

  • @blondiewendy

    Use this on darker hair! Level 5 or 4. The model already has a light base.

      @@matthewirvin6505 don't see why not. I have done it on medium brown hair with vol 10 developer and it gives the perfect base for highlights.

      Hi there! You can use the shade Extra Cool on levels 4 and 5 with either BLONDME Premium Oil developer 7 volume or 20 Volume for up to 15mins.

    Is it safer more gentle to use the clay blondeme for all over the hair with blondeme 7% developer or 20%? I'm a level 10 and my mom is level 8 so we want to know for both our levels. We both want permanent color in the blondeme range. Tips please? 🙏🙏 The toners just fall off our hair in a couple of washes that's why we want permanent permanent color.

    • @SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA
      @SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA  Před rokem

      Hello there 👋 Thank you for your question. We would not recommend using any lightener on top of Level 10 hair. Toners are gentle and pastel to keep that hair healthy and bright. Being Blonde is definitely a lot of upkeep and we would recommend using the BLONDME Care Cool Blondes Shampoo and Mask to help maintain those cool tones between salon trips. With a Level 8 we have IGORA Vario Plus, Which gets up to 7 levels of lift and is gentle with our Integrated Bonding Technology already built into the formula. No need to mix any other plexs into your color. Always use lower volume Developer when you don't need to lift much. Low and slow for the win. 💖

    So overlapping the lightened ends with the (clay)bleach wasn’t scary? It’s a beautiful color (result)..very shiny & healthy looking. It’s been a long time since I’ve used Schwarzkopf (they didn’t have clay lightener back then)… thank you- it’s beautiful

    • @SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA
      @SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA  Před rokem

      Hi! Great question. You can use lightener over pre-lightened ends as long as it's mixed with a low volume developer and monitored closely. We also recommend using Fibre Clinix following all lightening services to maintain strength and rebuilding bonds in the hair.

      Hey there! The Base Breakers are meant to be used with either the BLONDME Premium Oil Developer 7 or 20 Volume. They are mixed 1:1 and can process anywhere from 5-20 min. We hope this helps. ✨

    Doesn't it just reveal dominant remaining pigments? I.e warm...

    • @SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA
      @SchwarzkopfProfessionalUSA  Před rokem

      Hey there! These are specialty products made for clients who do not mind being warm and dislike the coldness of their own hair against the blonde highlights. It gives you up to one level of controlled lift without exposing to much warmth. Giving almost that baby blonde hair that they had when they where younger. I hope that this helps 🖤
