the differences between 7/11 in asia vs america is criminal 💀
There's reason most Asian countries are so strict with immigrations
so is food...especially fast food which makes no sense because all those fast food restaurants originated from America...
nah seven eleven in Philippines is trash
@@animeaddt its cause of the rules they have there...over here they don't care what they really give us in my opinion
@@honobuyonezawa2054 what? 7/11 here is pretty good
Wow can’t help but feel I got the better end of the bargain…
Hi syd
The 7/11 in the US stands for the chance of being robbed
Also how dont you know who charlie brown is 😭
@@Cooltodd 😭😭lmaoooo that's so creative
@@CooltoddI don't think Charlie was always there with Snoopy.. like the older times when Snoopy comics would be on newspaper
The US 7-eleven also comes with a crackhead outside
a free michael? sign me the hell up
the whole country comes with crackheads
There's 7-11s here that removed their outdoor trash cans and also pump really loud music to discourage people from sleeping in their lots. Such a huge difference from how nice the Taiwanese 7-11 looks! Like there's legit food there?! When we go to 7-11 in the states, it's basically like...gas station food. Food that you just get bc it's there but it's like immediately regretting it when you eat it.
"These things have been rolling here all day." - Toast, sad
"These eggs have been soaking here all day." - Yvonne, happy
The difference is the eggs are sitting in flavor and marinating all day in a heated environment that prevents bacterial buildup, while things in contact with air will oxidize and go stale
Actually the crazy part specific to Taiwan 7-11 are you can get train bus airplane tickets. Concert tickets, pay car tickets, get wedding paperwork done, pay other bills and even use 7-11 as a courier service all over Taiwan from one 7-11 to another 7-11.
SO, like almost all convenience stores in Japan and Korea then :)? Except the courier service I suppose.
@@PeyoPavlov somewhat same but yes courier service and more types of documents can be paid and processed at the 7-11,like when I say wedding papers I mean you can legally officially be married at the store 😂
Isn't this were like what normal convenience stores sell?
@@PeyoPavlov I think these types of convenience stores are everywhere??!!
WTF!? Dude... My local 7/11 can't even keep the slurpee machine running 😭 freezer sucks so bad there that my ice creams always come soft(nah, pause).
Looked at our local 7/11 store and sighed.
“Do not soloqueue” LOL
LMFAOOO
i read that as soliloquy XD
came here for this comment lol
What does that mean? Don’t go there alone?
@@001100AAAEA Basically a game reference, referring to not play or rank up alone cuz you're sure to get some real experience
7-11 in Asian countries really put the convenience in convenience store.
Esp in Taiwanese, Japanese, and some other parts in Philippines
South Korea also. Sometimes visiting Asia makes me hate Cali so much
@@yololoyo7379 OH YEAH! KOREA TOO THEY HAVE ONE OF THE BEST TOO!
Also in major cities in Thailand. A true one stop shop.
Wow Philippines is included
And 7-11 fails hard in ID
Just got back from Taiwan, and i already miss walking 2 minutes from my place and getting a whole meal for under $4
Yvonne being excited for a full size Yakult is so so real
"who are they?" YOU MEAN CHARLIE BROWN?? THE MAIN CHARACTER?! 0:34
More like snoopy and friends
This was so funny, perfect contradiction to eachother
7-11s in TW are like crazy! They are open 24/7 and will call you a taxi when you need one in the middle of the night! If you are not contempt with giving up your house address on an online shopping platform you can also get stuff delivered to your local 7-11 and then collect it from there afterwards. And not to mention, as Syd said, that they're like on every street all across TW. Its even more dense in TPE where there are like 2-3 on every road/street!
They have a phone? CRAZY
For some reason I’m craving a piece of toast right now.
I am in the US, got two 7-11 hotdogs for lunch, then went to visit my girlfriend after work, and farted. She freaked out saying it was the worst thing she ever smelt 🤣🤣
I fart around her all the time, but it never smells, but 7-11 hotdogs...wooh nelly
TMI bud
maybe you are allergic to dogs
The American 7/11 they went to looks amazing to me.
I know right? I was thinking that loaded hot dog Toast was sporting, looked like a luxury item compared to the store by me. 🤣
Americans discover higher gdp doesn't mean a good life but purchasing power parity does.
who needs snoopy and cute bear buns when you could have PICKLES at 7-11??
"Do not solo que" Dude got ganked before 💀
que pasa
I like how the Frito-Lay checkstand FEM is still characteristically to corporate schematic.
I just watched it all, got a 2min ad and watched it thinking there was more cuz it was such a fun and good video. I think it was cool seein what they had over there too.
Toast’s comedic timing, choice of shots, one liners, everything, it really makes it content worthy. Truly big brain. I loved that shot of the boys standing around in the parking lot with the camera on the ground. I wouldn’t enjoy this type of video if it was a more half assed amateur entertainer at the center.
I've been in a factory that made that milk tea bun thing from the Taiwanese 7-11 store. The way these things are made, I can watch it go hours on end. It had that oddly satisfying feels to it.
"$7, pretty cheap"
Damn i hate inflation...
YES A NEW DISGUISED VID
I got a 7-11 ad as soon as the video ended LMAO
Asia shops are so varied, I wanna go there
the funniest part is at 8:05 lol goes from this milk tea swirly bun to some packaged pickle
most cursed toast thumbnail
Your videos are a breath of fresh air, always enjoy watching
Having experienced Taiwanese 7-11 personally while I was studying there, gotta say it's elite
No way I got a 7-eleven ad at the end of the video 😂
lmao I thought Peter was a passersby until Toast started talking to him
Okay I wanna try the Taiwan 7/11 now.
The buffalo wings from American 7-11 are seriously the best wings you can find anywhere. They are usually really big and you can get them made fresh. They bake them instead of frying them. The sauce has flavor not just spice. They even started just having the wings available in the cold case for you to buy and take home to cook. There is even instructions on them how long to bake them.
facts... asian 7-11s are built dif
i mean u can walk in and buy full proper meals... like today i saw ready to eat japanese curry with chicken cutlet :/
Honestly both are charming in different ways, my roommates and I hang out and browse around our local american 7/11 to the point we're on a first name basis and they give us free slushies or drinks sometimes. Really sweet people
I got a 7/11 delivery ad right in the middle of this video. 😆
7Eleven is probably the great creation of mankind
I studied their supply chain in my supply chain course in the university and I agree %100. Their ability of min-maxing is just unmatched.
crazy how both of these are better than the ones where I'm from
Toast on the thumbnail got done dirty
You can get nice char siu baos in the morning at 7-11s in taiwan. It’s a boon tbh.
poor toast sounds so sad to eat 7-11 in america
I haven't had any 7/11 food since I was 15 and let me tell you the chili and cheese in the machines don't get changed often but when they do, boy there was a ton of mold in those bags.
love your content ... keep being awesome = )
They don't have it near me anymore, but the 7/11 breakfast pizza was actually 🔥🔥🔥
my friend is visiting some extended family in japan and has shown us some of the great 7-11 food. its wild
Amazing!!!
Man i kinda want some sweet potatoes rn....btw you should do something with convinience store on the next car blindfold episode
Don't let Ray see this video
I like how you censored the F word in the captions but didn't bleep out the audio. Nice work.
we have only one 7-eleven store in our city and it’s at the gas station 🥴
i miss having a meal at an Asian 7-eleven
I had realized this a long time ago, and it had made me so irrationally mad at the time.
7-11s in the East are so super clean, and they have so much stuff. If you didnt know any better, sometimes you would swear you were in a pop culture store that also just so happened to sell snacks and food. In Japan, 7-11s would even hold events for video games, commonly, like how GameStop and places here have code cards for Pokemon, 7-11s there would do that, among stuff for other games. I remember there was this game I used to play a LONG time ago, I think it was called Puzzle and Dragons. It always held these special limited time events. The events would usually be held at a 7-11 in Japan, and we would never get them. Idk why. Idk if it was a 7-11 exclusivity deal thing. and the US branch couldnt be bothered, but we just wouldnt get them. Also, they are so bright and decorated with all types of cool stuff. Meanwhile, over here 7-11s are at the forefront of the gas station food that will give you horrible diarrhea stereotype
Basically comparing prison to a 5-Star luxury resort
LOL THIS IS SO DEPRESSING. I love this
yo im going back to taiwan in 6 days i wonder if i can catch them there or theyre already gone by then
Loving the Toast-Eon content. Sydeon Toast sounds like a bad breakfast lol

"And they have Snoopy On The Roof. Oo! Snoopy on the roof."
Hadn't seen a taiwanese 7/11 but the japanese and south korean ones are pretty cool- lots of ramen and drink options as well.
As a Taiwanese, I feel very proud. Also, seeing Sydney amazed by TW 7-11 is hilarious. Please come to Taiwan again!❤
Yeah I've went to a few countries so far this summer and went to every one lol
i got a 7/11 ad before the video lol
the 7/11 in Canada near me has nothing other than a plain hotdogs and slurpees
I could watch Yvonne break apart food all day haha
Now I'm craving for the bacon egg drop sandwich 😭
The "Oh lala" with Italy's flag behind feels so wrong
I have very fond memories of NA 7-11. In middle school me and my friends would walk or bike to the 7-11 and buy an entire pizza cause it's cheap and just eat that among ourselves.
Taiwan's 7-11 looks goat. The theming is wild. I love it. Even compared to other Asian countries. The ones in Seoul are pretty small and I don't think I've seen this kind of crazy theming at one before
Sid not knowing who Charlie brown is is criminal
Place 😕. Place, Asia 🤩!
this but unironically
The American 7-11s always make visiting feel like an adventure though.
Toasty drip
From personal experience I would always choose any seven eleven in Asia over American 7-11's.
I've never seen a US 7-11 that looks that nice.
Thumbnail Toast looks like he's taking a picture for a mugshot
My local Japanese 7/11 has a whole dining area on the second floor.
The banana milk is wrong. You gotta go to Korea and try it in the plastic packaging shown in the picture on the box. It's better.
8:50 - "Do not solo queue" 🤣
As crazy as those differences are, I can't help but wonder how much the costs are per average wage between the two contries. I can't check it now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's much closer once that's taken into account (although I'd have my money that the 7 eleven in Taiwan is better still, just by the quality and price likely).
we are an Asian country here with 7/11s, but our stores are more lacking than these 2 comparisons 🙃
our stores are mostly small, narrow aisles, and don't have restrooms anywhere at all
we used to have the hotpot thing too, but it was eventually removed
you can buy VP in 7 - 11 here too
they have pokemon themed 7-11 too!!
Also don't forget to check credit card skimmer on American side....
Is that Kaohsiung?
I just got home when this popped up. I drove up to a 7-11 and at the same time, a homeless I often seen around the area comes walking up as well. I exit my car and was trying to get my wallet out of my bag when a guy comes running out of the store with a case of Corona. Then, the guy working the register jumps over the counter and comes running after them. Right as the thief is running across the parking lot to get to the getaway car, another car full of young men comes zooming in and hits the guy. Dude gets up, still holding the case, cursing at these guys. His friend in the getaway car also starts yelling at them and then said he was going to 🔫💥 💥 them. The employee that got ready to chase the guy hears the same thing, goes back inside and proceeds to lock the doors. The homeless man and I shared a look and dude just turned back around and I immediately said nope and peeled out of there. This all happened in like 5-10 min.
This was in Bellflower, CA. I don’t think anything happened. When we got out of the parking lot and drove by them, the thief just got into the car and the other car drove away.
love you toast
Look im not saying convienence stores in the US are great, but I think part of the issue is this is southern California. Like there's tons of places like Quicktrip in AZ that aren't amazing but they are clean and fine. They are closer to mini grocery stores. A lot of it depends on the neighborhood you are in for how nice it is.
I didn't get the point about how in the US they arent everywhere. Where I am there is a convienence store every other block unless you are in like a development area neighborhood.
Hmm is that the 7-11 next to a coin laundromat in Pico-Robertson area? I got mugged there once.
I eat at 7-Eleven at least three four times a week, and to be honest those taquitos are a hit or miss like probably 75% of the time they hit and then the other 25% of the time they're stale. It all depends on timing really.
Idk, 7-11 in Asia looks fantastic, but I also like 7-11 in the US, hot dogs are good and I love the taquitos, no problems here
8:53
"do not soloqueue"
🤣
That's why I remember being so disappointed when I moved to the US. When I lived in Taiwan, it literally was a convinience store. All kinds of foods, spare underwear, copy machine & etc. But when came to the states and looked at what they had to offer... it was so different.
Thumbnail makes it look like Toast is some kind of H1Z1 world
3 Michelin Stars!
the zero calorie slurpee stuff is actually slightly big at least on the scientific POV, as part of the science behind the crystalization of drinks is the sugar content, so making something zero sugar actually took a bit of work to develop.
99% chance it's bad for your health
@@steveweast475Living has a 99.99% fatality rate. I'd rather die with a slurpie in hand than live slurpless.
The weather was a paid actor.
I love how the girls shared everything and the boys shared nothing. So funny!
You should come to Denmark and check the world's busiest 7/11 in our central station in cph
I'm surprised Toast of all people is talking about Calories in that so-cal-mom-who-barely-knows-enough way. Toast is intelligent and has undergone training when he did his boxing, he should know calories are not bad, calories are energy. To get that much energy in such a small package is a good thing, especially for people in a hurry or with very little money to spend, like those that would eat a 7-11 hot dog. Calories are only a problem when you consume more than you are burning off or need.
Big Gulps huh? Alright!
Great video.
