- Back story concerning the man who was not a seller but only walking by was so extremely rude to me in such an aggressive manner that Justin had to come to my defense and tell him that no matter what was done, he didn’t need to talk to me in the way that he did. I even shared with him my video to prove that he was not filmed which was his primary concern. We agree that everyone has the right not to be filmed.

Love the little sheep. I'm quite timid about filming in public as well! Quite tricky...
Exactly unless one is in a larger city, it’s easy, in Paris or Nice for example. But for the most part, French people don’t do it, unless they had a VLOG! 😄
I know what you mean when you say that you miss your fur baby. I’m missing mine too.🐾 Thank you for taking us along with you. I’m always nervous about filming in public too. I try to respect people’s privacy, but it is difficult sometimes while filming. The mountains in your region are beautiful! ⛰️
Oh no, this must mean Penny hasn’t been found? I’m sending you all the positive vibes in existence! 🙏
@@Frenchcountryfriends Thank you!🙏
@lindakeen hey didn’t mean to delete your comment, you brought up a very good point and we absolutely agree. I made an assumption but as I explained in the description box, he was so extremely rude, yelling rude! It was uncalled for. He was merely walking by and saw that I was filming a table I had bought something at and went at me very aggressively. For a reaction as reactive as is, I made a couple of “maybe” assumptions most likely to help get over the trauma.
Looked a great afternoon out i just love such handmade items so much love gone into them the decorations so pretty thanks for sharing ❤
They seem to be long gone for many, I’m glad you appreciate homemade items and always see inspired by those who can create such lovely things! Whether that’s sewing, working with wood or glass…just amazing artistry.
I've been watching walking tours in London for Christmas. 90 percent of the people walking along are filming. I enjoy when you take us along on your day out. Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Yes you don’t see that here! In America most definitely! In France hardly ever. I was the only one (Believe me I looked around! 🤣) with a camera except around the music stage.
Lovely market… loved the sheep decorations… Laffy is always with you they stay in our hearts forever 😊
Merci beaucoup David, it’s appears you experienced the loss. 💕😭 We both cried last night when we received a lovely condolence card with Laffy’s face printed on it. He was wearing a striped shirt and looked miserably adorable. 😂 Miss him so much. Best to you! Happy festive month.
What a gorgeous drive! I’ve heard that stolen goods often show up in brocantes and vide-greniers on the other side of the country, which might explain the guy’s reaction 😅. Love the felt-backed no-kill furs. Never seen anything like them! Joyeux Noēl !
Bonjour! It’s been an awhile,we that hope you’re well! Oh wow! Stolen? Oh no! The way Katrina sources her sheep can be seen from time to time on her IG. 💕
@@Frenchcountryfriends Very well, thanks, spending a lot of time in the South now too, but Southeast rather than Southwest. Glad to see you’re well too. The house is drop-dead gorgeous, as are the environs. What an incredible job you’ve done. 😃
Wonderful. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous and healthy new year!
Same to you! Happy festive holidays filled with of warmth. 💕

Yay! Thank you Deborah! Really warms our hearts to read this. 💕
That was so fun to come along with you. Love seeing what Christmas markets are like in France
Thank you for joining us! 😍
Gorgeous weather and market. Thanks for taking us along. Enjoy the holidays. I like working in the yard, but then it's nice when all is done and cleaned up for the year. My yard has many trees and it's a constant job, but now is the quiet time. ( till we get a wind or snowstorm). Would be nice to see your decorated tree, if you have one.🎄
We always say “it’s the calm before the storm.” 🌲 The trees keep us working until summer, don’t they? 😂 What kind of tree do you use for the holidays? We just bought that citrus Yuku tree. Something different for us this year.
Thanks for asking. Mine is more traditional. But also different this year. Usually I used a tree shape which allows real candles on it, but this year those trees were crazy expensive.(190 dollars) The one I got is still a noble tree, but a different type. The lights are pretty too, and you can leave them on all day. I collected old European silver glas ornaments for many years and have birds clipped on the tree and I like straw stars.( they move when you walk by.) There is even a birds nest tucked away in the branches. It makes me very happy. This is definitely my favorite part of the year. ⭐
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you for such a wonderful series of content.
Our pleasure, thank you Kathy! Happy Holidays!
those mountains! Those shots were gorgeous!
Thank you! 🙏
Happy holidays. Wishing you all the best
Happy holidays!
Hi, you have a fabulous place - I just watched the video from Rhonda (A little bit french) where she showed the bundle she had from you - it was amazing to see what you have xx
Yay, thank you for sharing that with us. Would love to create my own journal one day with the letters and materials that belonged to our home.
@@Frenchcountryfriends it would be an amazing journal, xx
Finding Christmas/winter decor are always fun to spot while out shopping. The majority of my decorations have all been found in the same manor! Then once in a blue moon, (rare) & (minimal) you find something from a store, which will match. It is a fun curated Christmas collection for any home decor/tree enthusiast! Have a WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON! P.S. Aww, don't worry about the guy who got upset, after all you were at a public place. He could have stayed home and sold online versus selling at a public venue.
Slow curated collection is the best. I have a sense that you have a wonderful collection. Do you bring all your decor out every year?
Happy decorating!
@@Frenchcountryfriends No, I have enough that I can rotate, or switch up, either by trees, or rooms. This year, I updated some items per room (revised, revamped). Ideally, this may help with simpler, quicker room decor settings for next year. P.S. I did find some vintage glass (16) ornaments this year, which I will ponder how to use them next year. I had a little luck, I guess! Keep up the great decorating!
Thank you Jeni!
Love karina's stuff too. She should make shopping bags. But if love the white clutch.
Oh how cozy, a large wool tote! Yes the clutch is lovely!
The tree ornaments are beautiful!!
Simply beautiful and handmade. 😍😍😍😍
I loved the blue and white dish you picked up first did it have birds on ? Thanks for sharing ❤
It must be in the our latest video? The blue and white bowl with a metal basket handle. Birds indeed. 💕
Merry Christmas!!
Happy Holidays!
Love those nature inspired, neutral-colored ornaments, at least I think this is what they are, but not available for purchase on-line at the moment, correct? The French countryside is so beautiful, and I'd image very calming. Thank you for sharing it!
You had me at neutral. 🤣 I’d suggest that you send Blazi and email if you wanted some. Happy Decorating!
Super
the french are just insane about being filmed. there was no logical answer for the mans action. just carry on. ignore it
I’ll still be very careful because even filming in public without people is very intimidating unless I ask for permission.
