I’m new at jazz and trying to understand this absolutely intriguing piece. Can anybody please tell me, about the key.... from my hearing, this piece is in f minor, but why is it written with 2flats?
Ah... you are right, I probably meant to write Ab but missed two flat. It is in F minor! I will correct this in the PDF.
In fact, it is written in F Doric, that is, a F minor scale but with a major sixth, that is, with D natural, not D-flat ... the correct key signature would be with B-flat, E-flat and A-flat (as if it were E-flat major)

I used to think that there are are 2 types of people, those who can and those who can't transcribe Now it appears I was wrong. There is a 3rd type who's abilities are off the chart. May I ask, do you have perfect pitch?

Kim is a fine musician.Only listened once ,but appears to me here Gondola plays He plays a whole lot more,and the harmonic movement is impressive.
Seems to be his own work as much as Kim's and I and thousands more will benefit if we study it.
