This fight showed me alot about Izzy he is good at getting to positions he is good at. When you take him down you will see he elongates the process trying to get to the cage as close as possible.
He literally did nothing the hole fight except dropping rob but that didn’t daze rob he just got caught of guard with the power he bounced straight back up honestly think it should’ve been a draw I’m a huge fan of both I get Izzy the champ and stays very defensive but kinda getting sick of watching him only win fights with leg kicks and rob land way more significant head strikes and had more control time and takedowns be great to see them run it back for a 3rd fight because they will both bring it better I reckon

Rigged card. One judge even had it 4-1 Adesanya. Let that sink in. Rounds 2, 4 and 5 are beyond dispute Whittaker, also round 3 is very difficult to judge against Robert since he scored another takedown and the more significant strikes. UFC is compromised, sad but true

no his take downs did nothing and only caught izzy a few times ,izzy was dominate couldnt u see ,dont get me wrong whittaker has improved hugely , on take downs u have to do more then hold for 30 seconds to score if he did some ground and pound or connected by striking when izzy got up yes he would of won he didnt do enough tho and he was scared ,he was on survival mode his dangerous weapon is his left hand but left that outside the ring was to scared to use it because of the last fight ,izzy has to much athleticism and reach it was close but not enough i like both as being a kiwi myself and whittaker is acually a kiwi native like me i didnt care who one but izzy won 3-2
