hey you 2, this one is almost a mini biopic music video. understand the guys in duran duran loved models, they all married models of some descpription - sometimes long lasting, other times not! but there were always models in their videos. this time the models are playing them, and the band are acting as the paparazzi. i'll let you figure the rest out. cheers,
Yes, Simon Le Bon's wife, Yasmin Le Bon, is playing the guitar player and they have been married since the 80s with 3 daughters and a grandbaby now. They were just inducted in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. They do have some songs that sound more like rock. The thing with them is they are very versatile. I love their Gothic "Out of my Mind" music video!

This video is typical of DD. Just straight up creative art, impeccably filmed. My only complaint is that you don’t really get to appreciate the song with all the stops and starts. It’s a fabulous song. Also, not only were they one of the first bands to have models in their videos, they are leaders and trend setters in every aspect of multi media, which wasn’t even a term when they first hit the scene. Extremely influential band.

That's right. Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington were all in Duran Duran's Girl Panic! (2012) and in George Michael's Freedom (1990) videos. Tatjana Patitz and Linda Evangelista were also in Michael's Freedom video as well. At the same time, Christy Turlington was in Duran Duran's Notorious (1986) video. Tatjana Patitz was in Duran Duran's Skin Trade (1987) video. Eva Herzigova was never in Michael's Freedom video or a Duran Duran video until Girl Panic!
Hi there,a UK Duranie here for 40+ years since i was 11 so there's not a lot i don't know about them,Simon Le Bon's wife Yasmin is in the video and the others are "Supermodels",it was filmed primarily in London,having stumbled across your channel i had to dip in to see your reactions and i have to say as a certified DURANIE watching people that weren't aware of them especially since you guys are from the US it did suprise me as they conquered your country and still continue to do so,thank you for posting.

The one playing guitar, who initially says I’m not in Duran Duran is Yasmin Le Bon famous supermodel who’s half Iranian and half British. The rest are other even more famous Supermodels. Naomi Campbell playing Simon Le Bon, Cindy Crawford playing John Taylor, Eva Herzigova as Nick Rhodes and Helena Christiansen as Roger Taylor all being interviewed by the respective band members as press or interacting with them like with Roger in the elevator or John bring the limo driver etc. Great video. Honestly you should go back and see some insane videos from the 80s. Save a Prayer and Hungry Like the wolf shot on location in Sri Lanka, Rio shot on location in another incredible location, inventive videos as well, they always wanted to be on the forefront of it all.

These guys couldn't count the amount of different girls they partied with and had sex with while they were single back in the 80's before tying the knot with a so called Model. Unfortunately Nick Rhodes (Keyboardist), and John Taylor (Bassist) never had marriages that lasted. I know Simon is still married to his first and only wife Yasmin, and Roger Taylor (Drummer) and Andy Taylor (Guitarist) I believe as well only married once. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong. But these guys lived the lives of tons of Sex, Drugs, & Rock N Roll indeed. I mean they all look like models as well. Especially back in their younger years back in the 80's.
Roger re-married few years ago but Andy was the first to marry and still married to the same wife.
