There are 35 gardens at this year's Chelsea Flower Show, offering plenty of inspiration and take-home ideas for our own outdoor spaces.
The world's most prestigious gardening event, held on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, has an array of gardens to delight, inspire and educate, with key themes around sustainability (eco credentials are now a key criteria when judging) and the joy of gardening.
This year there are eight Show Gardens, eight Sanctuary Gardens, five Balcony Gardens, five Container Gardens, six All About Plants gardens and three Feature Gardens.
When will the winners be announced?
After undergoing a rigorous judging process, RHS judges will award garden designers with medals (Gold, Silver-Gilt, Silver and Bronze) on the official opening day on Tuesday (21st May), and the People's Choice winners will be announced at the end of the week.

I don’t think this is a legit RHS channel. The voice and accent is wrong, there are spelling mistakes, and the images do to look original. The cloying music is just weird.

After a former key sponsor, the South African Biodiversity Institute/Kirstenbosch Gardens, pulled out, South Africa's return this year comes via a private sector-led initiative. The RHS said the team behind it includes floral artist and landscape designer Leon Kluge, winner of the past two gold medals, as well as horticulturist Keith Kirsten, Grootbos Foundation's Michael Lutzeyer and Marinda Nel, past chair of the Botanical Society.
On Tuesday, the Leon Kluge Garden Design team was awarded a gold medal, the 2024 "New Design Award" and Best Exhibit in the Great Pavilion.
