The national railway company, ZSSK (Zeleznicná spoločnosť Slovensko), operates a comprehensive network of intercity and regional trains, making it easy to navigate between different cities and regions.
I personally prefer the more spacious intercity ambience of the Slovakian Railways (ZSSK) cars, these are air-conditioned and have power sockets if you need to recharge your mobile or laptop. The seats are in spacious bays, and line up with the windows for a great view.
The direct connection Košice - Vienna is operated in cooperation of ZSSK and the Austrian railway carrier ÖBB

5:15 эти поезда уже ездят по трассе Bratislava hl. st. - Komárno. Что касается поезда IC в этом видео, то он с новым рассписанием(оно изменилось десятого декабря) уже не заезжает на центральный вокзал Братиславы. Сейчас он останавливается на станции Bratislava predmestie.

I was worried that the slovak railways would be as run down as is seen further south in the Balkans, but I'm pleasantly surprised with the state of things - of course not saying things are perfect.
