- We came to this hotel at the upmost respect for all of the people who have passed away here… including Elisa Lam. We truly believe there was foul play involved in her passing and came here in hope to find some answers. It is believed by many people that she was just off her medication, had a manic episode, and willingly jumped into the water tanks. However, the facts just don’t add up. What really happened to her… Are we onto something?

If you haven’t heard, a group of people have worked on this case and found answers. Elisa suffered from bipolar depression. At the time, her doctor prescribed medications. When detectives looked through her belongings, they found her medication that at the time, was being underused. Her family stated that she had a history of not taking her medication when needed. When people with bipolar tend to go without medication, they can pretty much loose their minds. So the theory was the when she undertook her meds, she went to the top of the Cecil hotel and climbed her way into the water tank to end up closing herself in.
I dated someone with severe bi polar, he wouldnt take his meds. Caused a lot of issues, he would do things like cheat on me, take advantage of me, etc while manic. But would of never gone and did something like that. Something is off here. I definitely think she was not in the right state of mind and was manic, however I feel like someone could of easily taken advantage of her in that state. Her cell phone was also missing… and the lid somehow shut. There are things that just don’t add up.
@@kelsiidaviess I don’t know if the missing phone has been explained however the maintenance man that found her did state he shut the lid after seeing her. Apparently the lid was open when he climbed the ladder to investigate

I felt like Elisa Lam died from her “lover”who betrayed her basically, she then was put in the water tank by her “lover”. Or.. she either died from someone who was chasing her which made her felt uneasy and she hid herself in a water tank without thinking and did not find a way out

The bangs at 35:53 made me think that Elisa was alive and someone just shoved her into the water tank. She was banging on the tank and calling for help but no one could hear her so she drowned in there and that was when the bangs stopped.

In the exact date 1975 (as you mentioned) a girl named Alison Lowell died at the Cecil hotel (don’t remember the cause, but I think she jumped out of some sort of hotel room)!!! I’m new here. I take it you’re a medium. I’m sensitive to stuff of this nature. Talked to a handful of people who have reiterated this for me. At 18 min I felt an ~~overwhelming~~ feeling of sadness. I feel the pain and the tears won’t stop running. I don’t cry the most often, at least not like this. I watched up until this point with my eyes closed. Someone came through the spirit box. I hear clear as day a couple answers you didn’t subtitle for. You got through to a spirit that is hurting. I can’t finish watching this yet. I don’t want to lose my time on this but I’ll definitely be back to finish watching. Whoever you got through to is in deep deep pain.
The session made me cry I feel so bad for Elisa and breaks my heart. This gives me chills also and hope Elisa gets justice and peace. I do believe they are covering something up at the hotel and like where is other footage of her from the hotel.
