  • The Focus Jam2 has been nothing but a great emtb and a staple in the industry for years now. As we're sure that you are aware, the Focus Jam2 SL is the newer, sleeker, lighter, and shinier model! But what happens when they go head to head? Does one dominate and prevail with ease? Or are they more similar than one would think? Watch to find out as the Jams go head to head up the South Downs. #focusbikes #ebike #emtb

Would you take the jam SL over the Haibike lyke 11 ??
Not much between them, be interested in your opinion 🤔

Hi Jason, do you think you will cover the Orbea Urrun one day ? This thing seems to be "magical" with his 540 battery and his lightweight of only 20kg ! Could be interresting !

Hi Edward, thanks for your comment and taking the time to watch our video. I haven't ridden the Urrun yet, but I have ridden the Kemen SUV which shares the same battery, frame and key components. The main difference between the two (apart from mudguards, rack, lights etc) is the EP8 motor on the Urrun is RS tuned (down to 60Nm) rather than the standard 85Nm on the Kemen SUV.
Motor aside, the bike was extremely capable, noticeable more nimble through the corners than a full-fat hardtail weighing 23+KG and very fun to ride. The Urrun will be slightly lighter again (without the extra equipment) but will not have the full grunt of the 85nm motor on the Kemen. However, for most riders this won't be an issue as there is still plenty of power in the RS tuned motor, plus it is more rewarding when ridden at more natural cadences (like the Orbea Rise) and the battery range is improved.
For me personally, if I were to chose an electric hardtail, I would chose a mid-powered bike rather than full-fat and it would be between the Kemen and the Trek Marlin+ 8. If money were no object I would chose the Urrun 10.

Oh, thank you for your quick and detailed reply! I was thinking of the Urrun because I'm looking for an Ebike that - weighs around 20kg (I have a Giant FATHOM E+ that weighs 24kg and I find it too heavy on the road to go into the woods)
      - Semi Rigid, as I'm not that sporty
      - and a good battery so I can travel with it if I need to.
I've put some money aside so I'm thinking of going for the Urrun 10, thanks!
I do have one small question, though why the Urrun 10 and not the 30 version, for example Are there such big differences@@ebikecentre
