We have the same specifications, specially the processor so it won't be a good idea to do run it on such an old processor, try using windows 10 ghost spectre(lite version of windows 10)

Yes, if you have a ssd then it's a good idea to use windows 10 on a 2 gb ram pc. In case if the computer starts lagging you can just create swap memory cause it's an SSD and it's swap memory will be really fast...

I recommend you use Windows 10 32bit cause it runs well on my 2gb ram device. But if you really want a 64bit os try Windows 8.1 64bit cause it's so optimized for low-end devices
