do you always crouch while shooting? Does it make a big difference?
So if I play at 25 fps and spray as good as hjune at 60 does that make me better... ð€ð€ð€ð€£

your wrong with the hz and fps thing. i used to play on 60 hz and 144+fps on many games and it will still FEEL better than 60fps but from an outside perspective wont look it. how ever thats not to say 60hz is good, but you dont need a 144hz monitor to play rust well.

My problem with the new pattern is the first 6 bullets are annoying af. It goes in a one two one pattern on top of being at a different angle than later on in the spray. This means the first couple shots will have wobble unless you're straight robot god tier

Ah yes, this one sure is a blast from the past. The time hJune tried to convince us that scripters aren't an overwhelmingly large part of the Rust population.
You hit the nail on the head. A lot of people don't realize that those who are good with the AK...put in the work to be good. While obtaining 8k hours in the game, I gradually became an arm player on 400 dpi from a wrist player at 1200dpi. That is because I realized there needed to be a change to become better. I can do the recoil pattern in my sleep (muscle memory from hours and hours of practice). I only use one brand of mouse (Sensei 310) and I only use one brand of XXL mouse pad that I meticulously clean. I even use the same posture in my chair which affects shooting. Shooting in Rust is literally a lifestyle.

I got an AK in a recent wipe that I played in, I played duo with my friend and we managed to get one in the cargo ship and were pretty happy about it. We never roamed with the AK since we were afraid of losing it. While I was scrolling down youtube I saw your notification about the AK and I immediately clicked on it, it helped out a ton and I was able to kill some people here and there with relevant ease but not like a God. I appreciate you a lot Hjune! You helped us and other people on finally putting up with the beast!

Im not good at all with the ak but I am a very fast learner and this video within 15 minutes of me just practicing I am already strafing hitting almost every shot within the first 6 bullets from the 25m. Thank you for addressing the scripting accusation meta of Reddit. Disheartening that people still accuse high hour players of scripts, this new generation of players now have their minds tainted by what they see on the subrebddit. Just because you got sprayed down from 200 metres away doesn't mean they're cheating, they're probably just better than you; people need to accept this and just enjoy the game. The same people are the people that are calling for the AK to have random recoil.. Personally think its fine how it is, Rust like any other fps should have a skill gap in gunplay; the ak reflects that perfectly. Great video, Congrats on 100k.
YXNG CRYPT there are alot of scripters though. You can clearly tell when it is a script. People i used to play with that are part of the high hour main server groups openly admit it to me
It just depends, some people are nutty some are scripters
+XXXy1 Xy most decent players will tell you they are scripting. it's literally a meme in the scene atm.. damn I tell people I'm scripting everytime I get accused of it. 95% of the time when you call someone out for scripts, you're just feeding their ego; it's a compliment
EAC and FP have done a great job detecting LUA and AHK scripts in recent months. I'm not saying there are not scripters, it's just notl way near as bad people think it is, you're more likely to bump into a blatant silent aimer than a scripter, change my mind.

I remember playing with trip and TLBT and whitegold and them, and you came on with us on an official wipe, and it was right after your first base video, and we were roaming and you were like "THATS MY BASE WTF" and it was awesome to see, now you have grown so much and you have deserved it all. one of the most intelligent and amazing player I have had the opportunity to play with and watch, great job man!
also, I notice a big difference in monitor with 60HZ (i have) and 144HZ. used same settings on my computer and my roommates (with 144hz) and his was alot easier to control with more fps as well but only a bit, so new monitor here i come haha

Watching this a little late but wow this is very helpful. Got this game on Christmas and I already got 260 hours. I have lost so many fights just because of the lack of experience and the confusing recoil of the ak. This helped out a lot. I never knew the recoil was a s pattern wtfð. when i first started rust in december 2019 i couldnt understand how people were able to have good consistent spray, after practicing for so long i finally understand and am still trying to get better
4:28 if you want spray the wall and take a screenshot then flip the image and that is the path you follow with your mouse :)

Another factor is FOV in game, Lower FOV = More accuracy, harder to control. Higher = easier to control more seeing space and a better flick generally, though bullets may not lazer, you will win anything most of the time within 60 - 75M most of the time, after that it becomes less accurate. Generally find a middle spot or choose Low or High.
