    The Big XII is confident because they think they might have something lined up. They are confident because they know they can provide the best long term solution. If they get the teams they want, I bet they'll have the finances to compete in the short term and be able to secure "power 2" money in the long term. BY doesn't care about what the SEC/B1G want or what their plans are, he's going to kick their ass.

    The math is as follows. Fsu Clem to b12. Espn renegotiate Acc to 20M per school.
    Espn saves 300M per year...

      Another option is with FSU/Clemson joining in there would be 10 games of inventory plus what is now going to ESPN+ so probably 20 games ESPN/FOX could sell to TNT and that could very likely be another $10M for the schools, then the Big XII would get most of the ACC CFP money (remember BY made sure it could be reallocated) which would be another $10M so now you're up to $70M a year or pretty close.

    Personally I would like Pitt,Louisville,VA Tech,NC.The rivalries would be awesome.FSU is to much of headache.
