Replacement of gear and handbrake covers - Corsa D

Due to the fact that the skoda is waiting for the service, in the mean time some videos about the Opel Corsa D. But we will return to topics related to Octavia :-)
The video concerns the exchange of gear and handbrake lever covers in a Corsa D. The home way, without the use of a stapler, which was not at hand at the time.
Apologize in advance for poor lighting on the video. As you can see, modifications are made on long autumn evenings :-)

When I look at the frame for the handbrake gaiter the staples don't go right through. Was yours the same or were you just driving them into the plastic? I was thinking I'd have to drill the holes right through then bend longer staples in.
