I feel Animal is ameeron ki Gangs of Wasseypur with Ranbir being Sardar Khan, Rashmika being Richa Chaddha, Tripti Dimri being Bangalan, Lord Bobby being Ramadhir Singh... The most mindfuck moment in 'Animal' for me was when he ordered a fuckin' Rolls Royce in the color of Tripti's lovebite...I was creeped out, mindblown, flabbergasted and slightly concerned about the mind from which that idea originated, but still it was worth the 300rs for the action and cool factor, but misogny could have been toned down by about 200% and runtime by about 45-50 minutes easily, without impacting anything worth watching in the film.
Kicking the mosquito part was hilarious 😂😂🤣

Nikhat Kazmi was not JUST a critic of the 90s. She wrote editorials and did movie reviews for OVER TWO DECADES for the times of India. Publishing her last review in Dec of 2011, shortly before passing away after losing a bitter battle with cancer.
She was renowned for the reviews she wrote. She was unbiased and truly had a way with words. And I guess more importantly in the context of “Now“ Her reviews couldn’t be bought (and yes, many tried).

Im sorry but a "discussion" can't take place if two of the there panelist haven't watched the movie, Its happening on other channels too, people are discussing the movie without actually having watched it.
Which didn't happen as you can see clearly. Everytime Neville/Kautuk commented, they made it ample evident that their view is based on whatever little they know and not from personal viewing experience .
I blame Neville for that doctor leaving surgery midway. Throwback to an earlier episode, Life Advice if I remember correctly, where he said and I quote “ But it’s okay even if you are a doctor to take a break and have Chai”

I think the lack of Tiger 3 promotions was a deliberate choice that failed unfortunately. They probably thought since SRK didn't do too much promotion for Jawaan and it still worked, so they might as well try that.

There were so many loopholes in the animal movie. 3 hour plus movie but they could've showen about father-son relation. Ranbir characters looks stupid instead of macho.

Kader Khan's disabilities are very well explained. He has a clot in his brain which moves and stops function of various organs. Is why sometimes he is andha and sometimes he is behra. Best. Writing. Ever.
I went to animal 10.30 pm show in pvr. Big mistake, interval was at 1 am, finally left the movie at 2.15 am, there was still some movie left. I didn't watch the final fight post credit etc
Honestly, I enjoyed the movie a lot. Obviously, it's not perfect at all but this is something completely new to Indian cinema and I'm all for it.
