Hi zpolt, could you do a video explaining some of the terms that you use when reviewing IEMs like what soundstage is, what does warm, punchy, and tight mean. And maybe also add audio tracks to make us hear what those terms mean. Would really help me and others new to audio a lot

To put into simple terms Soundstage is how "3D" the sound feel especially for open back headphones but more and more IEM has this Soundstage
To have good soundstage you should listen EWF September and listen to the bongo man on the right ear
Tight is usually when each part of the sound like bass, treble, everything is very clearly separated. Like how the bass is very good but the details in other parts are still there. The opposite of this is "muddy", where the bass is too boomy or undetailed, and the other parts are not clear

Further am looking forward for buying out TRN BA5, Moondrop SSP & Spaceship. In the DAC section, I am going to buy FiiO BTR 5. I want to explore V shaped, Balanced, and Bright tunings, What you think about these choices I am making ?

Hello sir zpolt can I ask if we have a same experience with the kz zsn pro. When I go to the lowest volume of my kz zsn pro it starts to sound like tuning a radio there's a rumble sounds and also while I am playing cod mobile there's rumble sound at the lowest volume. Good stuff zpolt. What is the specific Sony DAP you showed in the video? I still need to own my own it FLAC files, just mostly streaming have tidal premium.. don't let you download, except into an "offline mode," which I guess, is better than nothing; but still, they should let members dowload their own music in some way (even if it's 10-15 tracks, every 3 months), IMO. But I guess it's another audio expense, that I'm gonna have to look into doing (because I want my own FLAC/high res files downloaded), being, I don't have that many CD's, not these days..😁✌🏼

Will you review the TRN VX? You are an amazing reviewer with that said; I think the TFZ Galaxy T2 stacks really well against the ThieAudio Legacy 3. I really like the bass on the TFZ Galaxy T2's.
It doesn't seem like a huuuge upgrade going from T2's to ThieAudio L3's. The L3's are a lot more analytical though.

I have a problem with choosing the right size of tips the thing is when I use the Medium-Large tips the sound sig is what I prefer but the comfort is not the best but when I use Medium tips the the comfort is just right but the sound is not what I want is there really a "perfect fit"? Or is it possible that our ears can work for two types of sizes and its going to be a matter of preference on what sound signatures we prefer.
(If you are wondering maybe I have different sized ears well yeah and funny thing is if I wear different sized ear tips each there is a channel/sound sig imbalance)

IEM’s? I prep my ears. I use wooden gun cleaners with cotton tips. I use peroxide to clean my earholes & then I use coconut oil or almond oil to lube my earholes. I also wear Earfit Light by Azla. My normal size is M, but if I size up to ML, I get a proper seal and sound.

Short of turning the phone off, unplugging headphones and IEMs regardless of turning down the volume or stopping the music still produces the crackling pop.

Are my iem's in trouble. I was listening to music at 60% volume and tuning my listening profile and the volume went up to 100% immediately and paused. It happened like in a second
What's the best earbuds or iem to partner with spotify? I think this is a good video idea because a lot of us use spotify anyways especially beginners or hobbyists who want to enjoy music, but can't invest time to look and download for high res music files nor have the budget for daps, or dacs
The headphone or iem is 95% of the sound, it'll make everything sound better, no matter how low quality the source. However, it'll reveal subtle mistakes in less well recorded music, and in lower compression ratio codecs since the headphone is no longer the limiting factor. Most people even with decent quality gear won't be able to tell a difference between 320kbps mp3, especially if you aren't directly listening for it. Almost any other lossy format is better than mp3 at the same bitrate these days too. Spotify, CZcams, and other sites use these better compression schemes.
How to know the limit of the driver? Like for EM6L?

Just wanted to say thank you for recommending the YINYOO 8 core upgrade cable. I'm using it with my KZ ZSX and I can really tell that there's an improvement.
But that's about it . Don't have anything else besides the upgraded cable. Currently using the Samsung Galaxy S10 and was thinking about buying a USB C dac.

Speaking of EQ, in my experience with the amplifier I use (Asus Xonar U7 Mk. 2), there's more than enough power for my KZ ZS10 Pro IEMs and I basically set the preamp on my Equalizer APO audio DSP software to -15dB. My EQ curve does have +ve boosts for certain frequency bands but I never exceed the preamp (i.e. never boost more than 15dB) to make sure the drivers are never driven near their limits and risk damage. With the sensitivity of the KZ ZS10 Pros, it makes not sense to crank up the volume any higher than 32% in my experience the vast majority of the time, with the very rare exception of abnormally super quiet audio sources.
So yes, competent use of EQ is your best friend.

Thanks for your excellent point about NOT blasting our ears with permanently damaging volume too. A painter that can't see well obviously can't paint well, just as an audiophile that has terrible hearing can neither make nor appreciate quality sound.

Yes possible with tws depends on your source. Some music players have eqs, even spotify has one, deezer has one too. Depends on your player 👍
If younger good IEMs, you dolt need a Equipment..Nowadays,if a IEM need Equipment,theyre not worth buying. I'm serious. Even Blons or KZ Z's 10 pros don't need Equipment and they're at the lower end of the spectrum.
that green is cheap quality cable where the wire internal is corroding. ive seen this happen a lot with car audio.

I just bought Moondrop Spaceship (old batch) because of zpolt xD. I was honestly suprised when I first heard it..it just sounds kinda neutral-ish, hollow and less engaging for my ears (similar to KBear Knight but more forward midrange and treble, and less congested in fast tracks) and I'd say my TFZ T2 sounded much better with plenty bass and "fuller" sound. Although Spaceship wins in term of bass decay so it's more suitable for listening to fast tracks
But yeah maybe it's just not for me. Also the nozzle is longer than my TFZ T2 so I couldn't properly use my TFZ T2's upgrade tips with Spaceship.
It still does right for vocal-oriented tracks and rock music...if you're okay with less bass and somewhat hollow/neutral sound.
