      Hi ESO,
So I dont know how best to contact you, but I wanted to reach out. I have watched about two hours of vids on the Clockwork mod for Skyrim and just LOVED your work. Also watched a video you posted a year ago re your move from Austria and the disaster which ensued. I hope all is well with you. Thanks for your awesome Skyrim content! It's the only game I play and you've helped me enjoy it even more! Bless you m8!

A little explanation about how attributes affect skill points since I haven't seen it described anywhere else. The first point into a attribute increases the related skills by 3 each. Second point by 4; and the third by 5. So if you load down on a couple of attributes you will start with more skill points than if you spread out your attribute points.
However after restarting the game several times, I would actually recommend new players do spread there attributes out increasing each by 1. There are several reasons for this.
First, all of the attribute based dialogue options (aside from the low intel ones) seem to only require a single point in the associated attribute to unlock. I am about 20h in and have only ever encountered 1 dialogue option that required 2 perception, and I am not sure that I didn't just happen to lose my attribute point due to a food/drink debuff at the time I was talking. So by putting 1 point in each attribute you will have access to the widest array of dialogue options.
Secondly, if you plan on using more than one skill in a single category you will actually begin to waist points once one of them reaches 50 if the other skill didn't reach 50 at the same time. For example in ESO sniper build if you wanted to lvl both Long Guns and Heavy weapons you would have to spend an extra 15 points in the ranged tree after Long guns hits 50 in order to get lvl heavy weapons up to 50 as well. Or if you wanted to lvl sneak and lockpick you would lose 12 skill points again. So the extra points you would get early by stacking an attribute start to get undone once your skill start to hit 50.
Finally, while not necessarily unique to a spread build I wouldn't recommend new players lower attributes as the penalties for low attributes are much more sever than the benefits for raising them. This becomes doubly problematic if you take any of the flaws in the game, because if you aren't careful you can turn even an average attributed into a negative and suddenly your health will stop regening or you won't be able to crit or something.

For the first build leave dex at average. You want to pick attributes based on their bonuses, as they are incredibly powerful and can't be conpensated for later. The stats you lose by lowering dex to average you make back very quickly. I would leave everything at averagr with +3 int and per for that build.

Just wanted to point out that the reason why you didn't notice a difference in the time dilatation is because the penalty you get from below average strength only affects the movements you do during time dilatation, not the dilatation itself, so playing a sniper build you probably almost never used it, and when you did, you didn't run around during it so ofc you didn't see a difference.

Recently I pulled out outer world's and started replaying it and I noticed a deep dark secret at the start of the game when you create your character if you do the standard balanced build where you put one skill point on the six base abilities you start with the game with a total of 236 points on all your 18 skills including the bonus 20 points you get at the start which was the build I always used but when I started replaying the game I tried a different build I left strength on average adding
One point to dexterity and charisma then two points to intelligence and perception and I then noticed something odd about the total skill points so I stopped and added them up and found out I then had a total of 303 total skill points including the bonus 20 points at the start of the game being a difference of a total of 67 points so how you create your character has deeper impact at the start of the game than you may think which is something that is really sneaky

All you need is prismatic hammer, a science weapon you can get as soon as you get to the groundbreaker. Use max strenght, dexterite and intelligence. Skill point in melee and tech. Go for 100 science and 60 2h melee the rest don't matter. Use perk that give bonus like + 50% dam with science weapon, faster swing, get 15% of dam back as health, etc. With this, you can upgrade your weapon and keep it 5 lvl aheah of you as you lvl up costing a max of 200 bits as your cost is capped. Use heavy hits only and with that, i 1 shot everything on supernova, 2 shots on rare Mega enemies and the final boss was a hair away from death after 2 shots. You never need healing, i do hits that do in the 15,000 dam range per hit to multiple targets while your little bullets do 50 to 100 dam to 1 target. there,s a video for that build, go find it.

I have played both ways on the strength build. It isn't as important to me since I play sniper style. However I find the effect of low carry weight is very inconvenient, especially without the carry and fast travel while burdened perks, which I also played without taking. Let's face it, a carry capacity of 80k with two companions sucks. I like to have some extra weapons and armors that are set up for specific tasks. I travel most with plus hacks and lockpick armor and have heavy armor for major fights, as well as long gun pluses for long range shooting etc. There are many situations where specific armor setups will help.

Until I get the Science Hammer weapon. Then I’m going offense player.
But it doesn’t matter. It’s how you like playing. You can put points in anything. You can only max out 4 Skills I think, but with companions they can boost some of your skills way up so you can max out 5 I think. I’m not done playing.

Carry weight isn't a problem for the most part due to the sheer number of work benches and vendor machines available. However, I have ran into issues where I had to break down things I wanted to sell just due to the sheer number of items I looted in a given area. The main problem for me was if/when you really wanna max your profits off creatures you kill in the wild (some hides etc are quite valuable) but the hides weigh like 2 or 3 carry weight each, had to drop many a leather

Melee build without Int...weakspot damage is vastly inferior to crit multiplier for melee. If you want a melee build go for Int over Dex/Perception (not saying put them at negative but 1 point is enough)

Have your strength your dexterity and your intelligence at very high the science from the tech that you get from intelligence it gives you an extreme Lee good damage when you use it with the science hammer that you can get on the ground breaker and it gives you a lot more elemental damage from the weapon because it shoots out all the elements at once when you do a power attack

3 to ST, 3 to Int, and either two or one poin into perception. With below average temperament and charm.

why would someone trade ability to slow down time and line shots/hits up for 1 level of handgun skill? dexterity is way overrated. in reality the main choice is perception (if playing sniper/handgunner) vs str if you playing heavy weapon/melee. then max intelect because its just too good to pass up with its crazy bonus to crit and its settled.
