Brandon, thank YOU for sending home the message of salvation. Without exaggeration, I have watched this episode a dozen times. The "Son of Man" scene with the Pharisees and the "I only want your heart" were always my favorite scenes. But, lately, due to major struggles with family, I was beginning to doubt my worthbto Christ. Even more, when I was unable to keep my mind on my prayers instead of what's happening around me. But, I value Jesus's love more than any human and tell Him I surrender. I still have much work to do, but know through reading the Bible, watching The Chosen and every episode of your teaching on what I saw, I will stay in grace. God's blessings on you and yours 🙏

Kathy, Jesus does love us. He says, however, to “be perfect as your Father is perfect.” True saints achieve perfection by the end of their earthly lives. It’s wrong to think it’s “too much work” so JESUS doesn’t expect us to TRY.
Brandon, I have watched this episode several times, as this and Mary's first redemption are the most obvious. With your additional comments, especially reiterating that Jesus only wants out hearts for now, it erases the constant thoughts of, "Oh, I did such and such. I hope Jesus doesn't think I don't love him. I'm just weak and need His help."

As someone who has suffered and still am suffering with anxiety and ADHD, I related a lot with Mary with this episode. I still struggle with the relapses of my anxiety and bad habits. I hate it, but it’s hard. But I’m praying God will forgive me and will help me. I’m currently medicated because my anxiety would get so bad I would feel sick or I was about to die and I wouldn’t want to do anything. But being medicated makes it more bearable and less nightmares too.
I'm right there with you on the debilitating anxiety. It's a disorder, chemical imbalance...nothing to be ashamed off. I'm medicated too or else my heart would pound out of my chest and I would hyperventilate often. Oh, and yes, AADD as well. It's tough, but Jesus will be there and help us thru. God bless you. Jesus is always waiting with open arms for us.
I'm there with you also. Panic attacks and severe anxiety are just awful and exhausting. Prayers for you and those who carry that cross. Shalom

Thank you, Pastor Brandon! I keep sharing your videos to my Christian communities because you provide such great insights through a biblical perspective. I especially love the commentary your shared on Sabbath. I am doing my best to protect my Sabbath each week for rest and to have the mental space to spend with my Lord. It is hard sometimes to not use it to catch up on pressing work and deadlines. But I’m learning that when I give God my time first, He always provides me with extra time and opportunities to handle what was pressing. My God is ever so faithful!!!!

However, he sometimes sees himself as very saw herself, unclean and not fit to be before our Lord. I keep telling him that if he has given himself over to God through Christ he doesn't have to feel unclean again because he was cleansed through Christ's blood. So, once again, you reach out and touch people. thank you

The harvest doesn’t come right away…a college friend told me that he remembered my faith in Jesus and had given Him his life! A few months later, however, he seemed to have gone back to his previous spiritual life. I was disappointed but held out hope for a return to the Lord. Last year, nearly 30 years after graduation, he emailed me to say that he had come to understand more about Jesus than he did during his first conversion. He wrote a book about his struggle with mental illness, and I’m eager to read it! I hope he brings his spiritual journey into it.
I just wanted to say thank you! Not only has this show changed me but this episode and your explanation has completely brought me to tears and I can’t stop crying. Sometimes I feel like I have let god down so many times and I am just not worthy of him. With the way this world is going I am so worried I will be left behind because I’m not worthy enough. Hi Brandon, beautiful explaining. I wanted to say that a struggle for me is that I'm constantly am around the unsaved, because they are family. And so far, I have not made any impression on them even though I've changed so much. They aren't interested and I pray for them as much as possible. When Mary said she was afraid she couldn't live up to it, gosh how I related. Jesus has my heart. When I pray, I feel my words aren't showing enough reverence. I can't imagine not seeing my adult children in heaven. I remember breaking away for a good 20 years... At one time in my life... But it's so hard to attend gatherings and feel like a fish out of water, and it hurts to see my family members uninterested in knowing Jesus and our heavenly Father. But I will never break away again... Ever. Thank you so much for listening.

It was all of it: About the Shabat, about not feeling worthy or that we can live up to what God gives us direction to be, about shame and going back to our old ways whenever we struggle instead of leaning on our Father, about the infinite compassion and faithfulness He has towards us.

I mean how do people "think" they are so above this notion at all? I certainly don't know ONE person who is perfect, I do think that the (denominations) have alot to do with those types of replies! Their likened to the teachers of his time who didn't recognize their own God! I don't like religion and neither did Jesus! They cannot see through all those rules and regulations that EVERYONE is human and NONE are righteous! I thought it was done perfectly, and so was your response and explanation!! Your being fooled though. This is man's fantasy and not what really happened. They're adding to the boble and look at you, Choosing a show over your God's true story. Smh they demeaned her character so they can teach their false doctrine. Bible does call us to be perfect after redemption. The fact that so many rather lower their standards instead of stepping up their game is mind boggling.
this video showed in a perfect timing. After accepting Jesus in January for the first time, I had a horrible relapse this week. And seek answers back in tarot which I was addicted to. I’ve been feeling guilty and ashamed for it.

There were moments when you were explaining the Sabbath that I felt that you were speaking directly to me...I needed to hear this message today, it was for me. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. I have been travelling on the fast train of life for a long time and haven't taken any time for rest, real rest. I am exhausted and deflated and its time for rest. Its time to receive the gift that God has offered , to keep the Sabbath holy. Thank you again Brandon. I value these videos as we are teaching The Chosen in our Bible study. Your explanations and commentary are so helpful. You say here that the first scene is Mary gambling. However, the first scene is with Amalech, his son, and David. The second scene is of Mary and Ramah. I was hoping to hear you explain Amalech,s role and commentary on David.
I love the explanation of the Sabbath and your challenge to set aside a day to just rest! My question is: is there a certain day of the week that is the Sabbath?

One thing I can share with you now, though: for much of the early history of the church, Shabbat and Sunday worship were separate things. Many Christians would observe the Sabbath on Saturday, then come together to worship and share a meal on Sunday.
