- Wrong is a song by the Belgian band Novastar. The song appeared on their 2000 debut album, named after the band. On September 27, 1999, the song was released as the band's debut single.
The lyrics of "Wrong" were written by Dutch frontman Joost Zweegers. The song is about a couple that has grown apart after years, and it becomes clear to the singer during a trip to Miami. In the video clip for the song, Zweegers can be seen with his girlfriend at the time, actress Cathérine Kools. Zweegers seems to be more interested in his musical instruments than in Kools, and she angrily leaves his apartment. The song became a minor hit in the Netherlands and Flanders, where it reached the 47th and 43rd place respectively in the Mega Top 100 and the Ultratop 50. Nevertheless, it has turned out to be one of Novastar's most popular songs; since 2009 "Wrong", with the exception of 2010, has always been in the top half of the Radio 2 Top 2000. I really like this song and the music of Novastar.
