I have a 2015 Elantra with this code and my car has no idle air control valve, so I have no idea what’s wrong

Hi there, is there any other fault code too?
Normally when you get this code when there is no idle air control valve, problem code be coming from the throttle body itself. However having any problem or blockage in air filter or throttle body inlet can cause very same fault too.

@@AutomotiveDiagnosisThanks for the response. The codes are P0506 (low rpm) and C1688 (VSM2 MDPS Signal Error, abs system).
I cleaned the throttle body, but my car still stalls and stops at red lights. Could it be a sensor?

Will this code cause a misfire at idle?

Sometimes at idle it may cause random misfire but that's not very common, mostly it stalls the engine.

If Idle control valve is ok, it could be from the throttle body, accelerator cable or restriction in intake or exhaust

Check pcv, check for vacuum leaks, clean throttle.
