      Thanks for watching! At 8:08 I go into what other free software I used to generate the MeshMixer Stencils. You could use anything, but I like a program called "paint dot net". You can download it for free here: www.getpaint.net/

    Hello Dr.! Nice video, thanks for sharing. The stencil text is not working for me after downloading paint and importing the patients name, I keep getting triangle shapes on my 3d stl models. How did you make the model empty from the top? Thanks in advace and keep up the good work!

      Make sure the settings that you have for the stencil tool are identical to mine. Also, you might need to refine your mesh a bit more. I go over that in the next video regarding high resolution pictures/text.
