I was told all that type of work on front wheel drive vehicle is the transmission, thats why some charge so much for that type of work, as if its transmission work,... I can totally understand the way it effects the transmission because obviously it does My dad just got a jeep Cherokee rather cheaply because of Drive shafts, it was interesting learning drive shafts seem lile transmision work and can cost like transmission work but are cheaper to order and out in and mess up before transmission But if ordering drive shafts for a Jeep Cherokee probably needs taken out and measured Because even with the vin AND ITS NOT STOLEN OR THE WRONG TITLE, it was said because of all the limited editions even the vin number pulls up the wrong parts sometime
