@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert No offense dude I sent a like but this song is over 20 years old. Glad you are checking this out. It is sad when people don't listen to all genres. Music is music and to discount other genres is sad. Peace brother.
AC/DC is all about power. They are an iconic band, arguably the greatest in rock and roll history. They've been around since the 1970's, and they have 17 studio albums now, with their latest, "Power Up", released in 2020. The guitarist is the one-and-only Angus Young. He's a prodigy with how he moves and plays.
You've heard AC/DC in movies commercials & restaurants. Go down the rabbit hole. You'll recognize a lot of their songs. Back in Black, Shook Me All Night Long & many more.
I would give a limb to have attended that 2009 River Plate concert. “Whole Lotta Rosie” was the coolest and wildest live performance imaginable. That Argentine crowd, wow!
One of the recent movies was on "Battleship" when they were refitting the old destroyer to fight the aliens. You will also hear a lot of AC/DC in Marvel movies.
I love your reactions and vibe. You have a thoughtful attitude and I really appreciate that. Keep being you. You are going to find with these classic rock bands that you will have heard a lot of their music without realizing it. It's everywhere, movies, commercials, etc. Please add 2Cellos cover of Thunderstruck to your list. Just trust me!
AC/DC never disappoints. These guys have been putting out phenomenal music since 1973! I love music from all genres, but still rock out with AC/DC...Thanks for the vid :)
LOVE these guys! I spent sophomore year being called "AC/DC chick" by 2 guys, due to an art piece I did in class lol All other girls made theirs very soft and sweet, mine was flames & a demon from Highway to Hell poster I had 😂 the guys asked my name, but still called me AC/DC chick all year anyway hahaa Brian on vocals here is awesome, but you should look into the older stuff as well, with lead singer Bon Scott! It's ALL🔥🔥
AC/DC is meant to be loud and infuse you with energy. Angus Young's guitar riffs are very distinctive and are sampled in commercials and movies a lot. Thunderstruck video was filmed at Brixton Academy in London in 1990. It's a converted cinema building and everyone was given a t-shirt to wear. Lol. AC/DC started rocking in 1973 and released their 17th album in 2020. Long live rock n' roll!
Last night I watched a football movie called, Longest Yard. This song was used in that movie. Now that you know this, you can’t miss hearing it again, and you will notice it everywhere.
Just got into your channel, you're fun to watch. This came out in 1990, these guys were pushing 40 years old. They just came out with a new album, and they sound great. They're in their 60s!!
One of the instructors at the gym where I teach has this song in her rotation. She makes us run around the room; each time they say “thunder” we have to stop and do a burpee!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
"Shoot to Thrill" is a fun loud track. If you've ever played football or you like pump up/workout music then you will probably also love the into of "Hell's Bells"
When you play this song... You need to impress your neighbours by letting THEM hear it too... When I do that the cops come around to rock out with me too 😉
Like ACDC JPedro mentioned in that pinned comment, check out The River Platte Concert in Argentina. Mindblowing dude! I mean brains leaking out of ears!
The venue is a famed old lady, Brixton Academy, embedded in London somewhere. She'd be getting on to 100 yrs old now. Its capacity is not large, but its history is. Great reaction dude!
Hey, man- just so you know... the weird walk that Angus does, with guitar, is called "duck walk"- it is a tribute to the great Chuck Berry. In fact nearly all the great Brit guitar-slingers from the 60s and 70s do it too (Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend, Keith Richards to be going on with).Until Chuck started his antics, guitar was a low-rated instrument, guitarists were stock-still under the watchful eye of the leader. Even Jimi Hendrix- greatest of them all- was constrained as lead guitar in the King Curtis Band. But Chuck, a Black gentleman, blazed the way to freedom for all pickers. And some guys paid tribute. Nice, Angus. Good on you, Rad. Be safe.
@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert btw another fun fact: Jimi Hendrix (home town: Seattle) had gone to NYC to seek fame and fortune and was so stultified under Curtis, he tried to form a band locally, but being a Black rocker- he couldn't get a record deal. So he busted out... to London, England, showed his chops in bars and taverns, and formed the Jimi Hendrix Experience with two English lads, and got his record deal immediately... and fame!
That riff Angus Young plays is even more impressive when you realise he’s playing it with just one hand using hammer ons and pull offs…….. freakin INSANE!!!
Check out "Highway to Hell" next. BTW... They've been around since 1973! It's amazing that they're still so hot after all this time. Wait until you see how crazy the audience is. You can't sit still when they are rocking. This is the real "head banger" music. Well... Them and Twisted Sister. Check out "We're Not Going to Take It" by Twisted Sister.
