He didn’t almost lose the ball. There was no fumbling with it. He had to go get it as there was no other way to get a bounce pass to Curry with the angle Beal had on the inbounded ball. Had he tried to loft it over the defense it would’ve given the Suns a chance to intercept it. It was perfectly timed and perfectly out of Beal’s reach but within Curry’s. Still making the shot after having to reach back in the opposite direction for the pass was phenomenal.
